On creation of the application was weekly and monthly considered? Within the "Standard" time profile do you have weeks and months?

Are you asking if you can change the current Standard time profile to 5-4-4 from its current setting?

OR do you want weeks to show up in the Time dimension? (e.g. 2024W26)

If it's the former, the Fiscal Year Month Type setting affects any apis that return the number of days in the period (e.g. api.Time.GetNumDaysInTimePeriod). So any rules or member formulas using them would be affected by changing it to 5-4-4, including the calculation or consolidation of historical periods.

If it's the latter, you'll need to create a new application because a time profiles must be created prior to the application being set up. You could use the old application as a data source for the historical monthly data and load that into the new application to a Scenario defined with a Monthly Input Frequency.
