Migrating from On Premise to the cloud - Recommended Testing

When migrating Financial Close Applications from On Premise to The Cloud , how much testing is required or recommended post migration e,g checking excel report retrievals to verify data as before , key close processes ,data loads , currency settings , etc ?

SFo  - It depends upon your application configuration and how much data are you trying to validate for historical purpose. The below are required even before the post migration. 

1. If you are using Direct Connect then SIC should be configured.

2. Upgrade OS Marketplace solutions if any

3. Update to latest Dot Net Version.

4. Update to latest Excel Add-in
