Hello,

I am getting this error when I try to extract a transformation rule group. Any ideas on how to resolve?

I haven't seen this before but I would guess that it might be related to the application you have assigned for managing TRX files. In Windows Explorer create an empty file with the extension TRX (eg TEST.TRX). Then right-click that file and select 'Open with'. Select NotePad or NotePad++ or any other editor.

Thanks Marcus, I should have clarified that this was only when extracting via application load/extract. I haven't encountered an error when extracting the TRX file from the Transformation rule page.

Not sure if there is a solution. I did find one. In your transformation rules, I found that one set of rules had invalid characters. What I did was try to extract each or a group at a time and then narrowed down which file had the invalid character. After I removed the invalid character, I was able to download it.
