Was going through our app to lock/certify some workflows and noticed that there seems to be a function that I have never noticed before, there is a Corporate Certification Management menu item with two sub items, Unlock/uncertify ancestors and Certify/lock ancestors.  Does anyone know what this does, it's the first time I have noticed it.

I have a scenario where I modified the member property:Number of No Input Periods Per Workflow Unit - 4I thought this would prevent users from inputting data into the first 4 periods (Jan - April).  However, it seems as though it is not functioning or locking the periods.  I can still input into these periods.Am I doing something wrong?Thanks,Sean

Hi Team, I am writing this post in regard to moving the cubeview up or down without renaming the CubeViews. For example: In workflow profile we have option to move the task/activities up and down. Do we have any such kind of options in the Cube Views to rearrange the same.

Hi everyone. I am looking for some assistance with using data buffers for a revenue planning form. Essentially, budgeted revenue growth percentages will be input individually for each brand by month. The total PY Actual revenue for each brand by month will be loaded into OneStream. The formula to forecast budget is:CY Budget = PYAct * (1 + Growth % / 100) While I can calculate each CY Budget cell individually for each brand by month, this would be a tedious and very long process since there are 26 brands and 12 months, which would require 312 individual calculations. I would like to use a data buffer instead to calculate CY Budget by looping through each brand (and across all months from Jan 2022 to Dec 2022). However, I am unsure of how to do this and would appreciate guidance. For ease of reference, I have also attached a screenshot of my cube view.

I have a extensible rule called "A" to update my Derivative transformation rule group. Now during the workflow execution , i want to run A just before the transformation step.Requirementstep1- Load the file.step2 - Before running the transformation , I want to execute AQuery?Where can I add the business rule so that it runs atleast before the derivative transformation kicks in?

Team I have a raw dataset with more than 100 Columns. I would like to connect the data and import 30 columns and have the data imported to cubeview as is. And then will manage the view in Dashboard.   Basically, in Excel world am trying to put a pivot on raw data of 100 columns with output being only few of them. Thanks

Using v.7.4.1.Initially, I set up 1 WebServer and 1 AppServerI configured the single AppServer to handle all processing and added that AppServer to the WebServer Config.The AppServer was receiving the heartbeat request as expected.Then I set up a second AppServer.  I changed 1 AppServer to be General Access and Stage Load.  I set up the other AppServer to be Consolidation and Data Management.I checked the logs on both AppServers and only the AppServer configured as General Access and Stage Load received the heartbeat request.I decided to swap the AppServer functions and the heartbeat followed the General Access AppServer.I assumed the heartbeat would be found on ALL AppServers.  Is it by design that ONLY the General Access AppServer gets the heartbeat?

hello - I have the Workflow start time and Workflow end time set on the Scenario. I am trying to change WF POV from Dashboard component Combo box by passing Scenario as parameter. scenario is changing but the year is not, i need workflow start year dynamically updated along with scenario. Any inputs on how to get the Workflow start year changed along with Scenario is appreciated.   below are my settings under Actions section Selection changed POV Action: Change Workflow Selection changed POV Arguments: WFScenario=|!MyWFScenario!|

Hello,I am using a custom defined navigation for my users to easily navigate between workflow profiles.However, for an import task, when the user click on the button to access it they are redirected to the standard import workflow profile menus ( with the "Import > Validate > Process tasks ...).--> Is it possible to actually integrate this standard import workflow menu into a dashboard (as some kind of "embedded dashboard" for the import functionalities) ? Many thanks,

Hi Community, Does anyone have experience running confirmation rules when the workflow tracking frequency on the scenario is set to yearly?  The rule looks like its only running for the POV time which the WFYear but I want the rule to run for each period. I'm hoping someone else has come across this as well. Cheers!

Recent installation of 7.3.1.1 WebServer and 3 AppServers.When I log on to the WebServer and attempt to hit "http://localhost:50001/OneStreamWeb/OneStreamXF.aspx, I get an error that says 'Unable to access application server using address "http://[AppServer]:50002/OneStreamApp." 'If I open a browser on my webserver and navigate to http://[AppServer]:50002/OneStreamApp/svc/Data.svc, I get the expected result ("You have created a service").I was also able to create an application database from my app server, so I know the connection to the db is correct.How do I figure out what is missing?Thank you in advance for any help. Ray

Could you confirm if it is possible to apply Security when using in an application the EXTENDED DIMENSIONALITY: It means, if we  want that Corporate cannot create new users for a specific LOB, or create new companies or accounts or manage access rights for this LOB. It is possible to restrict to Corporate all these options? Many thanks

Hi Team, Could you please let us know if it's possible to use the function math.pow in a databuffer? and if yes, which is the correct syntax? As for example Dim resultDataBuffer As DataBuffer = api.Data.GetDataBufferUsingFormula("Math.Pow(($sourceBufferMonthlyRate),$sourceDataBufferResidual)") or maybe in a api.Data.Calculate function?  Thank you in advance! Hi everyone, I need to retrieve the account name from a certain line in a cube view in an XFBR rule.  So, it boils down to the need for an api.Pov.Account.MemberId XFBR equivalent.   Is there anyone that can help me with this issue? It seems so simple but I cannot figure it out. Thanks! Floris

Hello, If I wanted to build out a driver based forecast in OneStream, are their any trainings or webinars that can explain that process? 

1. I am trying to export as trx for the derivative rule with a business rule in it. 1a. Once it exports, the exported file doesnt have the business rule name in it. (OR)2. Exported the rule as xml via application export and then opened it in the excel file as XM table. However, once i add rows below it and then try to export the file -> It says cannot export.   How to insert multiple lines in the excel and get tehm exported as xml for onestream input ?
