Hi AllI am trying to build BR (Finance or Extender (General Server), activated by Dashboard button) to calculate Journal (based on two different Cubes) and post to Dt or Ct ('if' statement to define where exactly)?I thought it would be possible with 'api.Data.Calculate' by just having simple equation TargetCube = 1stCube - 2ndCube; but cannot get to the place where I could define whether it should be posted as DebitAmount or  CreditAmount.Thanks!

Doing a simple XFD load and getting a strange message "Cannot load data to 'UD6' member 'member name' because it is not assigned to workflow channel 'Standard' or because the UD member is invalid for the specified cube.1. I have checked the Import_Standard node and can't see a setting that ties to UD6 members. 2. I checked the cube and can see that the parent dimension is allowed for the cube. Any help is appreciated,  Scott

I need to capture username, date, time, and status, for two processes via Event Handlerload data to cube using workflow profile koolwfforce consolidate ActualsCould someone please point me to sample code or literature? I have been able to gather that I may need to use the transformationEventHandler but can't really reference the data types needed to pull the information listed above. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.  

Hi,I have two sets of derivative source rules (see below). What I am looking for is to exclude the Accounts starting with 9203 from the second set of derivative source rules. Each derivative source rule loops through all source data rows, so it is not like in the mask rules, where placing the 9203* expression before the 92* expression would automatically exclude the first from the second set. What's the syntax to exclude something from a rule expression (in derivative rules)? Thank you

Hello communityI have quite a stupid question. We have two functiont types for Member Lists, MemberListHeaders, MemberList.I couldn't figure out what the purpose of MemberListHeaders is. If I define a list in "MemberList" without having it in "MemberListHeaders", everything works fine. And if I add a list to "MemberListHeaders", it's not popping up anywhere in the application, as far as I saw.I was expecting something like in HFM: the Headers was used to display the list in a dropdown from which the user was able to select it, while the "List" was the place where the list was defined.I'm sure there's a use for MemberListHeaders, but I haven't gotten yet.Marco

HelloWe have a set of cost recovery related accounts where the recoveries are calculated and captured centrally for budgeting purposes, but the actual recoveries are invoiced to the different entities and need to be captured at local source.I'm trying to find a way to restrict write access to the recovery accounts in our budgeting and forecasting scenarios but allow write access to everyone for the actual scenario. Does anyone have any easy solutions on how to accomplish this?Thanks

Hello, is there someone who knows how to get more information on this error?The next 2 messages refer to a scenario member, for which I run the calculation, but I don't see any "=" that has a wrong statement behind it, could of course be a small typo, but it's a large scenario formula. thanks in advanceBen

I have a Matrix data file with 36 Months of data. The header has the periods in MM/DD/YYYY format. Is it possible to convert this Format to OS Period format like 2023M1 and return in each of the 36-time source dimension in Data Source Setup?

Hi Team,Under UD4 I have an XFBR string, which returns Jurisdiction - the case is I can't include there hierarchy.Base, as it needs a single entity to work. Is there any parameter like |CurrentEntity| which I can include in XFBR or do you have any idea how to solve it?

I have used the FormsStausForWorkflowUnit method to check method of all forms. Unfortunately I'm not able to limit the amount of columns, is that possible? When I select 'Column Settings' it works only till the next refresh.Thanks a lot!

1. It appears WF setup with a Matrix Data Source always imports ALL the periods updated in the Source file regardless of the WF Period I am importing from. Is it possible to limit it to Import only the WF Period?2. I have a source file that will be updated/changed with the entities being loaded every time when it is loaded via a WF.In Order to preserve the balances of the Entities previously loaded I am thinking to have Source ID same as my Entity Name as I don't see any "Merge" Mode Load Option in WF. Is there any other way or better option to load files in Merge Mode.3. If I want load granularity by multiple custom dimensions, In addition to the one custom allowed for WF channel setup, can I use concatenation of Entity & Account & Custom as Source ID to preserve the data previously loaded? Is there another way to achieve this OR any cons with this approach?

Hi,I have a custom SQL table for people planning and want an ID field as my primary key. (The existing fields that would be good for a primary key need to editable (e.g. entry date) so I cannot use a set of existing fields as my primary key.  Setting a field as a primary key makes that field not editable.) My question is how to set a field's default with a SQL code, "select NEWID()" which generates a unique code?  I tried creating a parameter as a Bound List and SQL code with this query but when the dashboard with the SQL table editor is opened I get a pop up window asking for an input for this parameter.  How are primary keys normally handled in this case?  Thanks.

Does any one know if there is a BR command that can get the Workflow Name value from the Workflow Settings area of the Profile Properties (e.g. Import, Validate, Process) in a business rule?  To be clear, I'm not looking for the name of the workflow from the General section. I'm looking for the part of the workflow that determines the chevrons/bubbles that walk the user through the workflow steps Thanks,G

Is there any option for the users to see the Recent Pages they opened in the application? 'Navigate Recent Pages' allows the users to select and go back to a recent page, but this information gets removed when the session is closed. Please let me know if there is an option which persists between sessions? Thank you. 

Hi I have created a member list on Account dimension members to pull accounts with Account type "Balance Recurring". Now I need to use this member list in Finance BR  - Calculate Function Type to loop through this member list and copy data from December to Jan.I would like assistance on the syntax to filter by this member list on a data buffer function to pull the December data. Also I would like to know whether the member list will be executed one time and stored in the memory and used across all entities OR will it be executed for each entity when it runs through the consolidation process?I want to make sure using member list to achieve this data copy is performance efficient than directly filtering the members within the Finance Calculate BR using  api.Data.GetDataBufferUsingFormula("RemoveNoData(FilterMembers(A#Root.Base.Where(AccountType = 'BalanceRecurring')

Hi ! I want to confirm a data management behaviour... Right now I have data in a driver on Entity 9999, that I need in order to calculate data on entity 1032. The output should be on entity 1032. I am using a data management job where the DUCS are set for Entity 1032. However when I run the DM, my data buffer is not getting any data for Entity 9999. I think somewhere someone mentioned that using SetDataBufferVariable you can retain data in the whole Data Management sequence, so I tried to change the Data Management DUCS to "E#9999, E#1032". But the variable seem to be cleared when cycling to the second entity. Then my question is : How can I get my data buffer to "read" data from another entity (E#9999) when my data management job run on E#1032 ?   Here's my code which obviously doesn't work at the moment.
