Hello- I'm trying to load Headcount into our Finance model as a statistic. The table has no not data fields, just people records and emp ID. When I try to put a "static value" override of 1.00 in the "Amount" source dimension, I get an error stating no data records were found. Any help on how I can load # of records to the "Amount" in the Data Source? This is a Rest API connection to UKGThank You!

 Seeking to improve efficiency for user management and security/audit review processes. The OneStream application is accurately showing the user assignments but it's only available in the OneStream application itself and the GUI is not very flexible in viewing the out of the box forms. We have already installed the marketplace solution "Security Audit Reports" which improved our capabilities through a user dashboard and different reports with user details, but it is also only in the OneStream application GUI. As a workaround we have been using the Load/Extract option to pull an XML file and manipulate in Excel. 

Based on the XML, it looks like I need a reference to the OneStream.Shared.Wcf.CubeViewItem object that contains the CubeView.  The CubeView object doesn't seem to have a property for it's Name.Does anyone know how to get the name of the Cube View currently calling a Cube View Extender from within the extender rule?  

Hi, We are trying to setup REST API by following the OS documentation. Here we are using Azure as external authentication provider. We are able to get the token successfully, but passing back to the OS fails. Please advise on how to resolve this. Below the error message in Postman, "Error processing External Provider Sign In information. Token Validation Failed. IDX10214: Audience validation failed. Hello Experts,  I have a requirement of calculating Cash_ADJ based a sum value of 2 different buffers.  If the sum value is Positive I have to post a cash_adj with value from bufSrc2. How to install the Golfstream demo application on cloud? I have downloaded the GolfStream65 references material from MarketPlace. After unzip it, it was some .mdf and .ndf files. Since I'm on the cloud version, I am not able to access to the server. What is the possible way to install the Golfstream demo on cloud version?

Hi, We are working on Consolidation application with 'OOB and Store share' algorithm type. Came across an requirement to eliminate balances on few GLs with C#Elimination and O#Elimination member. Below calculate function worked randomly for few entities (step consol structure) and not for all. Any suggestions to improve on below logic ? Hi. I am trying to forecast OpEx accounts based on a seeding method. I am storing the method on a specific month by account and some UD dimensions and based on the selected method want to apply different math for those combinations. The issue i am facing is that when looping through my original data buffer, where the methods are stored, i need to change the Scenario, Period and View member for the looped databuffer cell and then sotore that value. Hi, I want to retrieve into a Business Rule and pass it on to a CubeView row label the value stored in a UD text property. ie UD4 Text3 for example presuming that this is relative to the current Workflow Scenario/Time setting In snippets I have found this : 'Dim sValue As String = BRApi.Finance.UD.Text(si, dimTypeId, memberId, textPropertyIndex, varyByScenarioTypeId, varyByTimeId) I am aware that the Text1 property attached to the WorkFlowProfile has the folowing attributes to get the various values stored under each TextN property field.Attribute Index Is: Text1 = 18000, Text2 = 20000, Text3 = 22000, Text4 = 24000 So what is the appropriate syntax in a Business Rule that I could bring in the UDN TextN values. What is the best approach to point to a different field in a Direct Connection Data Source. I am familiar with importing both local and USD currency (not using translation) by selecting the appropriate columns in a Delimited File, and this has worked fine in the past. I am now trying to do the same in Direct Connection to a Data Source. I tried using the Set and Get Global Variable as shown below, but the results are not as expected. For example I am expecting a USD value of 15482.72 and it is returning 22.61, this value is not even close in the set of data rows returned by the SQL query. Here is the complex expression I have in the Amount Field:And in the Functional Functional currency field I have the following complex expression: Any help is greatly appreciated. 

How does fragmentation on the OneStream Datarecord tables impact performance? I have an application with a lot of tables having fragmentation > 90%, but how big of an impact does this have on performance? Or do the Datarecord tables/logic/databuffer work in a different way? Any knowledge/experience on this?   Cheers Frank

Hi all, I have a dashboard with an SQL table editor component. Through the component in the dashboard, I can save text to the table, including special characters. For example, there is no problem in saving a string containing α (alpha).   Now I am trying to load a CSV file to that same table. The file contains some special characters too. To load the file, I have built a business rule which contains the following command: loadResults = BRApi.Utilities.LoadCustomTableUsingDelimitedFile(si, SourceDataOriginTypes.FromFileUpload, filePath, fileinfo.XFFile.ContentFileBytes, "|", "App", "LOAD_TABLE", "Merge", lfieldtokens, True)   The special characters are not recognised, and this is the result when loading TestNameαβπ.   Is there a way to load the CSV file and preserve the special characters?

Hello All,  I am new to OneStream trying to write a Value Override business rule for some investment accounts, The rule works without account filter. How ever I want to restrict this to Accounts with Text2 tag as "CADOverride". Hello Everyone, I need to rename a few entities as user provided incorrect names. They loaded data already and I am wondering what are exact implications of renaming them now. I tested renaming and I can see that drill down to the source data is not possible I found another topic on this forum and I cannot find any other implication other than with drill down >>> Entity Name Changes - OneStream Community (onestreamsoftware.com) I did not find anything in documentation Can anyone confirm that this is the only implication of renaming dimension member? That drill down to the source is no longer working? Of course I know that if those entity names were used in cube views, business rules, formulas, etc., then I need to adjust them (but thankfully this is not the case here).   Kind regardsJarek

An api is passed in, but typed as Object, what is object type of the correct/most efficient API to use in an Extensibility Rule to call Members.GetBaseMembers()?

I want to have an account that has a calculated value (rounding it to thousands), and then allow a Forms input adjustment to it for footing reasons.  The calculated value would have a UD4 of "Calc", and the input would have a UD4 of "Footing".  As soon as I make the account calculated it doesn't seem to let me input to it with the other UD4.  It shows in white background indicating you can input, but I can't put anything in the cell.  Anyone know if what I'm trying to do is possible?

Does anyone know if it is possible to rename a cube? I am happy to execute SQL queries if that's what it takes. Failing that are there any shortcuts for copying a cube (with all the workflows)? We have copied an application but one of the cubes (top level for workflow) must be renamed as it is out of place in the new application. Any comments or ideas will be welcome. Thanks

Hello,I was wondering if it's possible to change the workflow year to show FY20XX instead of just 20XX. In our legacy system we used FY20XX as our current year and we would like to continue with that style. I cannot seem to find a spot where to change it but I've seen images of other workflows with the year showing FY20XX. Thanks, Will

Hello Everyone,    Is there a way to force the composite expression to run before the One To One Rules ?  i am trying to run a complex expression to override values coming from the Source Data. but the One To One Mapping is triggering the mapping, what i want to Select all BS accounts from source based on the Target mapping , and import UD2 as a None Value . Instead what is happening is that all the BS accounts with UD2 value are being Mapped based on the One To One mapping i did for the PL Accounts. and i only want the PL accounts to have a UD2 Value.
