Hello! I'm trying to set up a few workflows that individually kick off an SFTP load,  but only for that given workflow. I created a dashboard button that the user clicks on to run the SFTP data  management job, but it currently loads the fiels for all workflows set up for SFTP. I'm tyring to find a business rule line that doesn't sue the batch file load. Are there any examples of only loading a file based on the workflow selected?   Thank you!

Hi  Do we have any process or procedure which helps in migrating OneStream application from one environment to the other.We are aware of application load or extract. Do we have any another best process which can help in migrating to adopt only recent changes to application. ThanksChand

I currently have accounts tagged with a text value within Text1 default. There are rules which refer to the text value.  My question is, if beginning in 2022M6 (for example), how can I set this text value to blank to make sure the formula no longer runs on this account. Let me know if there are any thoughts outside of entering spaces or a different value.  Thanks for the help. Cheers!

Hi Team, I would like to understand how you are managing the Entity changes on a monthly basis. For eg: the Entity name in 2021 M6 is San_Jose_213 and it is changed to SFO_213 in 2021 M7. If I choose the rename option, then 2021M6 cube data will override but custom tables created for our requirement will remain with the old MEP name. On the other hand, if I chose to create a new entity how to intact both the entities for future reference

Hello - I am am trying to produce the parent for an entity under Gathering_Processing segment node. However, because this entity is shared, the parent entity returned by the VB below is not the one I need. The parent returned is RRC_STXGasUtility which is flat hierarchy and includes the entity in question. Hello,    I am trying to create a hierarchy for cubeview reporting that is based on a series of metrics that are extracted from the Journal Line Item application database table.  The metric is based on one half of the JE, but it is only applicable if a specific account is used as the other half of the JE.    For example, if I have two journal entries, one using accounts A & B and one using A & C, I need the data from account A, but only for the first entry because the other half of the entry was to account B.  Because the second entry used account C I don't want that value captured in the metric.   I have been able to compile the SQL extract for this, but was wondering if there was a function in the business rules that would allow me to populate a dimension member, similar to a Finance member rule or api.data.calculate.getdatacell, that could be used in a loop, based on the row values extracted, each row being a combination of dimension base m

We have successfully set up and use workflow channels (tagged to accounts and workflow profile steps) in our divisional (Base Input) workflow profiles in our application build.  The steps and data lock based on their workflow channels appropriately.  However, we are having trouble getting Workflow Channels to work properly when it comes to the workflow profile (Parent Input) used by central finance.  The central finance team needs the ability to book historical USD overrides on select equity accounts on behalf of the divisions for all non-USD base entities in the OneStream application.  We are not using and have not configured the use of any UD dimension in our Workflow channels to this point.As of right now, we have assigned the central finance team their own Input Form profile step so they can submit these Overrides to the configured accounts (using Flow dimension).  We have given that profile a unique Workflow Channel and assigned the accounts specified in t

I have a client that needs to demonstrate to their auditors that no one except the IT group has the ability to create and delete users. When I use the Security Audit Report it shows the security roles for the application related functions but it doesn't list any of the "system" security roles such as "ManageSystemSecurityUsers". Is there another report that would provide this information for the auditors?

Hi all,I have a matrix load, on which account is matrix. One column with a specific account needs to go to 2 different accounts. For this I just reference the same column twice. This works fine.The issue is, the first instance the UD5 is coming from column 5, the second instance UD5 should come from column 16. How could I achieve this?Thanks!Tim

Hi.  Is it possible to set Certification Profiles so they only show on a Quarterly basis?  The questions can be set to quarterly but the Profiles still exist in the off-quarter months and require a Certification sign off even though there is nothing to certify.  I have a client who needs an employee to certify a question on a quarterly basis and this employee does not have any other certification or workflow responsibilities.  

Is there any function or SQL to identify the newly added member in OS ? Ex - If I added an new account and I want to check whether the data was loaded to that new account ?   Thanks  

Hi, I have an account member A#salary which is being computed using BR1 in CV1 and I need to use the computed value in another CV2 using BR2 to compute account member A#61000101. Hello all, Asking for a client: they've been live for several years and they would like to perform a clean up of their security user groups. They need to obtain a list of the groups that exist in OS that are no longer used/referenced anywhere in metadata, workflows... Pre-built Security reports do not offer this. I'm guessing we need to put together a query to the DB but I don't know all the tables that reference a user group ID. Can someone help please?

Hi all, do you know if there is a way to put a conditional formatting based on element properties? Like haschildren, text1 = to a certain value,....? Hi all! I need your help with a finance BR. I have a Budget scenario with different versions children members (ex: Budget, Budget_v1, Budget_V2, etc.) Right now my script goes like this:  Dim isBudget As Boolean = api.Pov.Scenario.Name.XFContainsIgnoreCase("Budget") If isBudget  Then I am trying to find a script where I don't use "Contains", as if new scenarios are created in the future, the word "Budget" will always need to be apart of the member name, which is not ideal. Any suggestions how I can call the children members of Budget? Thanks

Hi All, I am new with OneStream and I am taking the ReadyTech Lab exercise-- Implementing_OS_Lab_3_Starting_with_Workflow_Exercise.   The requirement is to select the BudWorking-Budget Working Scenario as shown below.       However, in my application, there is no BudWorking-Budget Working Scenario. Hi All!   I want to implement a Data Management that read and modifies data from the cube. The only problem is that the rule type Extensibility Rule does't have the option api.Data to be able to acces to the data from the cube. I'm tring to create a Finance rule that is called by an Extensibility Rule. Here is the example: But I get the error: 1) Error at line 33: Value of type 'ExtenderArgs' cannot be converted to 'FinanceRulesArgs'. ¿Can I call a finance rule directly from a dashboard or from a data management? ¿Is posible to call a Finance rule from a  Extensibility Rule like I'm tring to do? ¿There are some Imports that I can use to be able to use api.Data in a Extensibility Rule?   Thank you!
