Disable functions in excel add-in

Is there a way to disable excel functions/buttons within the excel add-in? For example turning off "submit workbook" in the top ribbon or calculate/translate when right clicking on a cell in a quick view/CV?

Correct.  In a Cube View you can control those options here:

And if they bring the CV into Excel, then yes. But for Ad Hoc Quick Views, if they have modify rights to a particular cell, then no.

Thanks, I'm guessing then stopping the calculate/translate functions when you right click on a cell is also not possible?
