Narrative Reporting Custom Variables

Hi, 

We're building custom variables for NRR to enable users to select from a set list. These variables are built in Parameters with custom querying. Is there a way to enable these variables to be selected from Artifacts -> Contents or somethin equivalent inside NRR.
