Xlookup not working in OS-Spreadsheets

Hi, 

We have several excel sheets with XLOOKUP formula. In application-spreadsheet (v6.8 and V8.4) this is not working. Whereas it is working in MS-excel.

Is this possible in OS-spreadsheet?

Working around with match/index/vlookups etc is not a solution.

It isn't unfortunately (not in 8.5 either). What is wrong with the workaround you mentioned? We did that for 20 (30?) years!

I guess your only other option is to use the Excel add-in rather than the built in spreadsheet.

we have modernized some excel sheets as users did not understand match/index , this was replaced by the 'modern' xlookup formula. It is like we moved on and left the match/index to the past :-).

think we need to go back.
