Does anyone have a piece of code to clear data on the origin Forms member for just a few accounts? The api.data.clearcalculateddata is not possible (data is not calculated) and api.data.setdatacell doesn't work. Thanks.

Hi. I am trying to forecast OpEx accounts based on a seeding method. I am storing the method on a specific month by account and some UD dimensions and based on the selected method want to apply different math for those combinations. The issue i am facing is that when looping through my original data buffer, where the methods are stored, i need to change the Scenario, Period and View member for the looped databuffer cell and then sotore that value. Hi, I want to retrieve into a Business Rule and pass it on to a CubeView row label the value stored in a UD text property. ie UD4 Text3 for example presuming that this is relative to the current Workflow Scenario/Time setting In snippets I have found this : 'Dim sValue As String = BRApi.Finance.UD.Text(si, dimTypeId, memberId, textPropertyIndex, varyByScenarioTypeId, varyByTimeId) I am aware that the Text1 property attached to the WorkFlowProfile has the folowing attributes to get the various values stored under each TextN property field.Attribute Index Is: Text1 = 18000, Text2 = 20000, Text3 = 22000, Text4 = 24000 So what is the appropriate syntax in a Business Rule that I could bring in the UDN TextN values. I have a process that causes contention if launched concurrently by users. Is there a way to check if a session with a specific description is already running? I would like to abort the session if another session with the same name is already running. I tried looking through properties and found "GetTaskActivityItem", but the definition and sample are not of much help.

Hi all, I have a dashboard with an SQL table editor component. Through the component in the dashboard, I can save text to the table, including special characters. For example, there is no problem in saving a string containing α (alpha).   Now I am trying to load a CSV file to that same table. The file contains some special characters too. To load the file, I have built a business rule which contains the following command: loadResults = BRApi.Utilities.LoadCustomTableUsingDelimitedFile(si, SourceDataOriginTypes.FromFileUpload, filePath, fileinfo.XFFile.ContentFileBytes, "|", "App", "LOAD_TABLE", "Merge", lfieldtokens, True)   The special characters are not recognised, and this is the result when loading TestNameαβπ.   Is there a way to load the CSV file and preserve the special characters?

Hello All,  I am new to OneStream trying to write a Value Override business rule for some investment accounts, The rule works without account filter. How ever I want to restrict this to Accounts with Text2 tag as "CADOverride". An api is passed in, but typed as Object, what is object type of the correct/most efficient API to use in an Extensibility Rule to call Members.GetBaseMembers()?

I want to have an account that has a calculated value (rounding it to thousands), and then allow a Forms input adjustment to it for footing reasons.  The calculated value would have a UD4 of "Calc", and the input would have a UD4 of "Footing".  As soon as I make the account calculated it doesn't seem to let me input to it with the other UD4.  It shows in white background indicating you can input, but I can't put anything in the cell.  Anyone know if what I'm trying to do is possible?

1. I am trying to export as trx for the derivative rule with a business rule in it. 1a. Once it exports, the exported file doesnt have the business rule name in it. (OR)2. Exported the rule as xml via application export and then opened it in the excel file as XM table. However, once i add rows below it and then try to export the file -> It says cannot export.   How to insert multiple lines in the excel and get tehm exported as xml for onestream input ?  

Hi, I have a matrix data source matrixed on Account.  Sample below.  One of the Account fields is a Date that I need to convert to a Long to store.  I can do the conversion but not sure how to target the value to convert when in a matrixed data source. Hello, I am trying to create a FX Scenario - Acutuals at Prior Year Rate. I know i can use Constant Year For FX Rate and assign the year from which OneStream will pick Actuals rate in this case. But i dont want the user to be changing this property every year. My approach is to set "Translation Algorithm Type" to "Standard Using Business Rules For FX Rates" and create a custom translation for that specific scenario "Actuals at Prior Year Rate".  Does anyone has the logic to translate the scenario using Actual Exchange rate tables switching one year back from the POV being translated?

Hi, I have an application DB table with a date column and I am using the LoadCustomTableUsingDelimitedFile function to load a CSV file to the table. The xfDateTime# token is assigned to the column in the LoadCustomTableUsingDelimitedFile  function. The dates in the CSV file are in the dd-mm-yyyy format. However, the LoadCustomTableUsingDelimitedFile function assume the dates are in the mm-dd-yyyy format. Data is loaded but when querying the table using the Month() SQL function for example, the day is return instead. Is there a way to make sure LoadCustomTableUsingDelimitedFile  knows the date column in the data file is in the dd-mm-yyyy format? Thank you

Hi, We have a cascade entity structure, where one of the sub-elements consolidates up to a certain period, and after that period the other begins to consolidate. Entity A1 has an investment in Entity B11. Consolidating 2019M12, the application calculates an elimination of consolidated reserves in both parents Entity B1 & Entity B2, regardless of the fact that Entity B2 does not consolidate until 2022M8. I would like to know if anyone else has had a similar problem and has been able to solve it. Thank you, Sara
