Aggregate without consolidating

Hi all, how do you run an aggregation, i.e. calculate the "Aggregated" member of the consolidation dimension, without running a consolidation?

In particular, would it be possible to setup the Process step of a workflow profile so that it runs an aggregation (as opposed to a consolidation/force consolidation)?

Thank you

AndreaF  - It can be configured in DM Job and you can attach the DM job to the Calculation Definition in WF Profile

Hi Andrea,

Yes, you can configure the Calculation Definition on the workflow profile as follows:

- Cons: Aggregated

- CalcType: Consolidate

I hope this helps.

Ok, thank you both! I don't know why I expected a separate "Aggregate" command to be there alongside the consolidate/force consolidate, but in fact I have to consolidate on the Aggregated member!
