Exclude stat accounts from data load

Hi all, I am importing an international TB from one of our affiliates, and there are local stat accounts included in their submission. I do not want these to be factored in the US GAAP TB file.  They start with 9998*, so I tried a rule to report them as "0" instead. However, I really don't want rows of 0's. Is this something anyone has encountered before, and if so, could you assist me?  Thank you!

Don't you just want to bypass those records when loading to the cube?  If so in your masking mapping you can send 9998* to a target of (ByPass) so they are skipped and not loaded as zero.

Hi, I agree with Teresa!

Just in case it helps, your setting could look along those lines in the corresponding Transformation rules:

The Mapping Types documentation also includes a small example of a bypass:

Mapping Types (onestream.com)

This prevents the data being loaded to the cube in the first place and provides you as well as the auditors with full transparency, as this is all fully auditable via Stage. And, of course, you do not populate your database with unwanted zeros.
