Range transformation rule

Im being given an account consisting of 4 numbers, a - and 4 more numbers like:5150-0707.

Im using range TR to map to the OS accounts, so for example 5000~5050-0304 works fine, but if i put the ~ after the - like this: 5000-0001~0304 it doesnt work any more. is there any way to fix this and make it work?
