Running Consolidation from WF

I need to run consolidation from WF using the calculation definition upto the immediate parent of each entity level WF. what would the step to do that?

I believe you need a Import Validate,Process workflow 

Then set up a calculation definition:

It comes with a handy Load+Process button to run both steps at the same time.

Yes. 

In the calculation definition- Do we assign the parent entity in the entity column or the WF entity  to run the conso upto the parent entity of the WF entity?

Will the consolidation run to the immediate parent if in Calculation definition Tab the Parent is left "Unassigned" and Calc Type is "Consolidate" and Cons is "Top"?
