Hi;
While trying to export TRX file from the transformation rule, the Visual Studio gets opened and it in turn gives an error message and I do not get an option to save it as a TRX file.
Would anyone be able to give any suggestions to help.

It sounds like you need to change your Windows settings to open TRX files with a program other than Visual Studio. Download this file and unzip it. Right click it in Windows Explorer and select Open with... Then you can change the program to your liking.
