Workflow setup

Hi,

 

I have a WF where I dont want to have user load data through import. Only Forms and Adj.

I could turn the profile Active to False.but the problem is  I have a historic WF where is an import level for this entity.

I tried doing the  optional data load to True.

when i am complete the Workflow for the Import step - I get a error saying import step doesnt have a datasource assigned- which is expected as I am not having a active TB load.

 

Any suggestion where I can complete the WF - Import step without really loading data?

    We have had luck in cases like this by amending the Profile Properties of the Import step, changing the Workflow Name to Central Import.

    Hi OS_Love , how about moving that Import to it's own Base Input Profile?  The Forms and Adj can then sit in their own Base Input Profile separate from the historical import.  Something like:

    Then you can use Security to show/hide the Historical import and going forward users will only see the Forms and Adj in the 'Other' Base Input Profile.
