Hi, I need to make sure the first tab updates when the data changes on another tab after saving.  I tried to add the refresh on that save button and redraw that component from the first tab .   Is there a way to make this happen with the tabs.  I have to currently refresh the page in the upper right when I go to the first tab. For example, when Validation mapping fails: Operation Failed is Transformation.ValTrans.FinalizeValidateTransform   For example, when Validate Intersection fails: Operation Failed is Transformation.ValIntersect.FinalizeValidateIntersect   I am looking for similar event name when Import Process in workflow is failed.

Hi , We are trying to upgrade our OS version from 7.4 to 8.4. We are following the Manual Guide provided by Onestream, and done with all the instruction as stated, But we are stuck at the last part where we need to configure the IIS Manager.  I am not sure what should be entered in the Username and Passoword. Our system is On-Prem and we used to connect to the software using this domain http::localhost:50001/Onestreamweb. Let's say my Username is ABC and password is 123. What should I write in the Username section ? Because some online instruction manuals say I have to write "domain/username" in here. I have tried multiple combinations but the connection is not working out. Please find some attachments below for reference.  Looking forward to your support and guidance, Any help would be appreciated

Hello - recently in our Production environment a new user inadvertently locked and certified all of the workflows used for variance commentary before they were completed for the period. These workflows are descendants of the top workflow for the actual scenario type. We were eventually able to unlock and un-certify them, but going forward, is there a way to prevent this from occurring again without assigning specific user groups to each individual workflow? Right now, all of the users that enter variance commentary are in one user group, because their property assignments change on a regular basis, and it would create a maintenance headache for our admin team having to keep up with the much larger user group population. 

Hi there, I'm trying to clean up the column headers on my cube view so that it leaves the view blank.  I have achieved this by adding the view to the member filter and using adding the following text:Name( ). I needed to use the view member filter since I've adding a trailing 3-month average column, otherwise the view member is determined by a dashboard parameter.   This works fine except for the column where I've needed to use the second member filter to designate the scenario such as the forecast column.  Does anyone know how I can modify this to so that the view member is blank for all columns?  

Hi,  Trying to upgrade from 7.3 to 8.2, I've been follow the "Upgrade Guide" from Doc-On-Premise but I have an issue at the end of the process.  I updated all Databases and Server configuration files as the documentaion shows.  I have Microsoft.AspNetCore.App 8.0.3 and the desktop runtime  Microsoft.WindowsDesktop.App 8.0.3. AspNetCoreModuleV2 is installed too.    But, when I try to connect to OneStream, the message is "Unable to connect to server using address "http://localhost:50001/OneStreamWeb": I've checked Event Viewer to get more detail about the issue and I got this information:  Thanks in advance for any help.  Regards

Hi team , My client is demerging . So their current app has to be split into two new apps based on Entity structure.  What is the usual data migration strategy that is used ?  My question is more focused on Data Migration :  There are 4  sets of data :  1. Data Corresponding to Origin Import :  2. Data Corresponding to Forms  3. Data Corresponding to AdjInput ( i.e Journals Data) ( Along with Journal Information )  - Do we need to pass the journals again to the new Application or is there a way to export ( can be done using DM but any other way ) and importing them back in ?  4. Annotations  What is the best practices around it ?  What are the things that one should take care about ?  Regards, SS

Is there a way to download OneStream Libraries to GitHub? We need to use gitHub for version controlling of the business rules.

Is there any documentation available for the backend tables in OneStream? Many of the tables are composed of keys pointing to other tables, and it can be challenging to discern the relationships between them. Additionally, understanding what each column in a table represents would be helpful. For instance, in the vStageSourceAndTargetData view table, columns like Wfk, Wsk, and Wtk essentially form the Workflow POV, but this isn't explicitly stated anywhere, making it difficult to interpret.

We can write a business rule to export data from the OneStream backend/custom tables, but is there an out of the box solution to do so? The Data Table Manager marketplace solution also has the option to export data, but only up to 5000 records.

in OneStream we can do custom table with process development, also there is Thing Planning where we can do process development. Is there any document or anyone can help us to provide the pros and cons of these 2 development methods? 

Hi, I am trying to access a file stored in Azure File Storage to import in the cube, but I need help to do that if I try using the REST API as the namespace Microsoft.Azure or any other Azure related namespace, as they are not available in the OneStream library.Has anyone encountered the same ?  Any better approach to achieve the desired outcome ? Thank you for your help

When the user clicks the button, the metadata associated with the entity relationship property should be updated to reflect the option the user has chosen from the dropdown menu. We upgraded to 8.2.2 last month and switched our data connector to the SIC connector.  Since upgrading all our drilldown cube views (to stage data) have been loading slow.  Most of them used to load instantaneously.  Now some take 5-15 minutes to load.  Has anyone had this issue?  I have an open ticket with support.   They ran indexing and that helped but just a bit.  Thanks in advance.

I am trying to get dimension info using a member name. I came across the function, Dim nValue As Integer = BRApi.Finance.Members.GetDimIdFromMemberId(si, dimTypeId, memberId), but it requires dimTypeId. Is it possible to get dimTypeId using member name

I cannot select "Copy a Quick View" while my cursor is in the Quick View and I refreshed the sheet from the menu. Why? What am I missing?

Is there a way to make a data source process rows that do not have a value in the Amount column? For example,  an import file has 4 rows: Account Name Cost Center Name Amount Cash G&A 5,000 AR G&A 5,000 AP G&A   Retained Earnings G&A 10,000 OneStream will only process the Cash, AR, and Retained Earnings rows becuase the AP row has no value in the Amount column. While a complex expression can evaluate the empty amount in the AP row and retun "0", the Data Sources only processes the three rows into Stage.
