Our team uses cubes views for reporting.  Often times they will highlight a cell for analysis purposes in a separate color, however when they refresh the cube view the color reverts back to the original color.  Is there a way to keep color, upon refresh.

Im trying to create a formula for one of our Statistical Cal accounts.  Its a derivation of of a calc we already have.  However the line will no compile even when I copy the existing formula completely. Return api.Data.GetDataCell("(Divide(A#1200:I#None,A#TTM_Net_Sales_wo_IC)) * 365)") I can compile the existing account without issue, but when I copy this formula into the new account I get an error  

Dear Community, I am using FdxExecuteDataUnitTimePivot for getting my data in Time column wise manner. I need to display it in Time columns under which account columns should be created. Is there any way to create sub columns . I will attach screenshot for reference.  

Hello everyone, We have a client that uses 13 period time dimension in their current system that we are moving to onestream at the moment. They use period 13 to load TB' post adjustments even input disclosures  currently.We first wanted to use a UD dimension to capture it but I'm more and more leaning towards having custom 13 period time dimension to cater that. I know that is something that needs to be set up during application creation so I'm guessing we need a new application. Is that something to be requested from OneStream to set up?I also would love to hear if any of you had a similar case and how you handled it. 

Hi, I have a (.csv) file in my File Share Folder that I want to read and load into the cube using a Workflow Profile. I have written an extensibility rule for getting that file and reading the file contents and creating a Data Table. now what should I do next? Is this the right approach or is there any other way to accomplish this? Below is the code of the Extensibility rule. Thanks

Hey folks, We have a requirement to define range of rows in a GetDataCell. For example: GetDataCell(CVR(Row1) + CVR(Row2) + CVR(Row3)..... CVR(Row100))Instead of defining it manually till Row100, Is there any way to give a range like this GetDataCell(CVR(Row1):CVR(Row100)) ?Any solution to this will be helpful. Thanks. 

I would like to see just the current form profile and related cubeview to be seen as "Required" option. I dont want to see this "Deprecated" options. Does anyone know how to change this? I couldn't find an option in the workflow profile.

Hello Community I have data sorted in descending order in Data Adapter. But when that data is imported to BI Viewer I am not getting in descending order or any other sorting order. 

We have a combo-box for entity selection on a dashboard however, it only allows a user to select 1 entity at a time. How do I make that comb-box open to multi-select 2 or more entities? I do not see a multi-select true or false option on the combo box form. Parameter: Combo Box: In Dashboard:        

Thought this was cool and wanted to share so others have the recipe.  If you build a default landing Home Page for users upon login, this is where the XML sits for that Dashboard.   Then, (I was thrilled) to discover this) once you have a default Dashboard set for users, the OneStream logo is now a clickable button!  It returns you to your Home Page Dashboard.    

Hi, I'm a little confused with a workflow security issue I have always assumed that locked and certified parents prevent the unlocking and modification of the workflow steps below it, however I have just tested and found this isn't the case. I have locked and certified a parent workflow, logged in with a test user that only has access to a single base entity but has the 'unlock workflow unit' security application security role and in my test I am able to unlock my base entity, make changes in forms and relock, all without disrupting the locked and certified status of the parent. Is that the expected functionality? Does anyone have a recommendation for updating the workflow unlocking so that it will only be allowed if the parent is also unlocked? In my first attempt at an eventhandler I ran into the issue that I couldn't access the locked/unlocked state of the parent workflow without the user also having access to the parent workflow

Hi, We have a user that is getting the error below while trying to refresh an excel file using Smartview.  I've had a look at the file, and it's nothing special. Just a few XFgetCell formulas, and it runs fine for me. Error: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collecion. Parameter name: index.   Any ideas folks?

Are there any steps that need to be taken for YE close in OneStream. Balances rollover P&L to R.E. and Opening balances for BS accounts. Do we just run a 2024 force consolidation? Any recommendations?

Hi all, I'm looking for a way to skip a dimension parent level in a Tree expansion while still maintaining a tree style view.  Does anyone know if this is possible? Alternatively, does anyone know of a way to declare an expansion MyHierarchy.Tree and include a .Where or .Remove clause?  I can't seem to get this to work for me so I wonder if it's just not possible using the "Tree" method. Example: Default Expansion based on .Tree expansion Parent 1     Child 2        Child 3            Base MemberDesired View (skip the Child3 parent):Parent 1      Child 2            Base Member

Hi,  Anyone has any idea how I can setup security to limit the users from seeing other entities but at the same time not impacting IC partner for IC Matching Report? The cube views are setup for all entities. When doing it via entity dimension - setting read access and read and write access, IC Matching report is affected as when performing intercompany, the user can't see their IC partner.

When loading a YTD feed for an entity, if that entity is terminated mid-year (possibly moved to a new entity due entity structure changes) the imputed periodic value translates at the current period FX rate causing there to be a residual USD value remaining in the first period where no balances exist.  This issue is discussed on page 77 of the Foundations book, however the explanation on that page seems to indicate that this is mathematically correct, and therefore seems to infer that it is therefore a correct accounting presentation.Has anyone found any combination of scenario, workflow, or cube settings that has prevented this from happening, or have you used a business rule or some other process to remove these values from periods where no activity or balances should appear?

Hi, This is most likely basic but I cannot find a reference for this.  I want to show the time Quarter in a cube view, but the name should be the last month of the quarter instead of Q1. Should be March 2023. May I know how to do this? Thank you in advance.

Hi, I sent out an excel cube view report to My colleague. He filled in the numbers and sent it back to me to submit. However, when I click the submit button in excel, the cube view report number is overridden ( to existing system data) and the number my colleagues input is gone. Any way to submit his number before the cube view loads the previous number? Thank you.

Some users are facing issue when running a calculate in a specific form in OS. I attached the error log. We're not able to replicate the issue. We notice that around the time the issue occured the CPU usage was 14%. I don't know if there's any link. Can you, please, help ? Was making a application copy of which we do all the time. I have one environment. OS told us to download the new version of application copy and we did. Ran fine last week now we are receiving a failed error. I noticed that the iis reset is now not in the script.  This is my selection
