Hi all.We have a spreadsheet rule that needs to pull a value from another database table.The lookup runs successfully in an existing Dashboard Extender, and I was initially requesting the amount by calling the Extender from the spreadsheet rule, but that only ever returned the default value, even though the lookup does have a valid value.Because that failed to return a value, I tried making the call directly, as shown:sOperational_Capacity = BRApi.Database.LookupRowFieldValue(si, "ExternalDB", "XFC_STEP3_DEV2_OperationalCapacity", objDbwheres, "Operational_Capacity", 9876).XFConvertToDecimalLocalNB: The 9876 is just a default value that is different to zero, so that I recognise it, and we use the ConvertToDecimalLocal to deal with French culture users.Basically, when I run the call from the spreadsheet rule (either directly or by calling the Extender rule), I receive the default value every time.This same code runs perfectly from the Extender BR, returning the correct value.I have also

We are using Datalake as a centralized repository for raw data coming from D365, the goal is to integrate Datalake with Onestream directly but we are running into a "NO_BROWSETTABLE set to OFF" error. Our DEV team can stand up an azure sql server and write the data to that server....Doable but not ideal. How are you all setting up Integrations with non-odbc connections?

Is there any way to format a number for the FORMULA DRILL DOWN to show as more than two decimal places or format the output as a percentage?  I have some factors that are applied against another account that need 4 or more decimal places to look like they calculate correctly.  In the example below, the number should be .0588.

I am building a data adaptor for journal entry information using  command type: Methodmethod type:journalforworkflowunit query:{Cons}{Actual}{2022M9}{All}{JournalStatus='Posted' and UD7name='CONS_ADJ'} i would like to be able to pull multiple months of journal but it seems that the query only accepts single month values as the third filter. it there a way to pull all months prior to and including my filter) like 2022M9.allpriorinyear

We seed actuals into the monthly forecast, but headcount isn’t pulling over and we’d like it to for reporting. I found where the business rule is for this process and can see it is currently set up to just pull Income Statement accounts.  I just don’t know how to update/change it to include headcount (our headcount is a statistical account).  

Hi Has anyone used a data adapter using the WorkflowStatus method type? It generates a field called TotalStepCount. The number of steps usually equates to the number of steps in the Workflow Name, but not always: I understand that this is because a single step in the workflow name can actually represet multiple steps (which are included in the TotalStepCount), but I think this is context dependant - i.e. varies depeding on the other steps in the workflow. Does anybody have a way of seeing exactly which workflow(name) steps are being counted in the TotalStepCount field?

Hello - we recently updated the stored values in the Percent Consolidation property in several large entity hierarchies, so there are 3 stored items with different time periods for each child. We found today that when we pull data using a YTD view, whether in the Excel add on or a cube view within the Windows application, the consolidated numbers on the parent do not match the children when the latest stored value is applied to the child data. However, we did find when the view is changed to Periodic the consolidated parent data matches the product of the child data and the current Percent Consolidation. Is this issue related to the Consolidation View on our Actual scenario? Its currently set to Periodic. If this helps, our Consolidation Algorithm Type is Standard.

Hi all,I need to make a calculate icon in a dashboard visible based on the form status. Based on another post in the forum to check the workflow status, tried below script to first check the workflow status and return true if completed and false if not completed.It throws error message as "The given key is not present in the dictionary".Kindly enlighten on the reason for this error message and on how the form status can be checked. Thanks

Hi all,I'm working on a Dashboard Extender BR where different processes will be triggered depending on the button selected by the user on the dashboard.The BR is structured this way:The two parameters shown above (p_scenario and p_yearmonth) retrieve the value for Scenario and Period from the WF.Every time the user clicks on a different button, two variables are assigned the value of WF Period and WF Scenario as shown above. The process works fine for all of the dashboard buttons except one. When that one is clicked, the values of WF Period and Scenario are not retrieved. The two variables shown above are left as empty strings. Any idea what might be causing this? I'm using the same formula for all of the buttons:Dim Scenario As String = args.SelectionChangedTaskInfo.CustomSubstVars.XFGetValue("p_scenario")it works fine on all buttons except that one Thanks in advance for any help on this!

Hi Experts,I have subsidiary entity where it needs to be consolidated 100% but with other line of adjustments as belowNCI calculation on equity portion/Share capital elimination.in HFM, We used to write on default consolidation rule first and then method specific rule on top of thisif same thing is to be applied in Onestream, can i follow as below ?If entity method is subs thenStep1 api.ExecuteDefaultShare() to consolidate every account 100% firstlyUser defined tagging=> Text tagging to Equity related accounts to pull accounts for NCI portion calculation.Step2 Text specific Source accounts are reversed with Minority portion(%) into Elimination member and same writing to offset NCI account into the Elimination member like HFM ??  

We worked with OneStream to set the Inactivity Threshold to 90 days but discovered inactive users are not automatically Disabled after 90 days - only flagged as 0 days of "Remaining Allowed Inactivity".  I'm assuming we could create a Business Rule or some other process that could query OneStream security data within the system to confirm users who meet the "Remaining Allowed Inactivity" = "0 Days" criteria.  Manual review could work as well but not preferred.Any suggestions on how this could be automated in OneStream?Thanks in advance.

Hello, we are working on a constant currency Actuals scenario that will be using alternate FX rates and are in the process of testing a Hybrid Scenario with the 'Copy Input Data From Source Scenario' setting.  We are running the data copy with a 'Force Calculate' Data Management Step using the 'Execute Scenario Hybrid Source Data Copy' setting.  We have found that after resetting the hybrid scenario, the first run of the copy step is taking around 50 minutes to complete, but subsequent copies are only taking 7 minutes.  Is this expected with a hybrid scenario copy?
