I have informational account created to store some Include/Exclude value by Entity. Now, I dont want this account to be translated and consolidated so, I have tagged AccountType to "Non Financial" while Aggregation to False. However when I turn on false its become invalid while True makes it Valid for input. Any idea what causing the issue? Based on the OS doc any informational account can be set to False.    

Hi, I want the hierarchy illustrated below. Entity B owns 90% of entity C, and in the consolidation of entity B we calculate minority interests of 10%. At this step, I have no doubts. However, entity A owns entity B 100% and also owns entity C 100% (90% direct + 10% indirect). So, in the consolidation of entity A, we need to eliminate the calculation of minority interests done previously in the consolidation of entity B.I don't know how to set the properties to do this. Can someone help me?  

Hi, I was wondering if we can write a dynamic calc in the scenario dimension? I see the field for writing the formula but somehow it is not returning anything. How can I enable the type to dynamic calc so that it works as how we use it in account or UDs?  

We wish to disable Native Authentication once we go live on V8.  If Native authentication is enabled, all users must enter their username and then the authentication occurs.  In V7, that wasn't required.  In V7,  we utilize several native accounts for testing - i.e. TestUser1, TestUser2 - that the admins can leverage when working with security.  They use their SSO account to launch one window of OS and login natively with the test user on another instance of OS, enabling them to make a change in their admin window, refresh, and test the change in their other instance.With disabling Native Authentication, our IT department suggested we create Azure test accounts that can authenticate  like our normal user account through the shift/right click and "run as other user" function to login as that t-account.  However, this doesn't seem to work - nothing happens after clicking on the shortcut and entering the t-account credentials.  Is it safe

Hi All, Finished the installation of the databases and webserver on the machine, following the installation guide it reached a point where it told me to test the application and login for the first time using preset credentials.I tried inserting the standard credentials but I would get the error message "Unable to log on user 'Administrator'.  The password was reset and needs to be changed." and it does not allow me to change the password (see screenshot below).This is a fresh installation and the standard credentials were never used before, did some error occur during the installation or is there something I have to do to make it work correctly?Any help would be greatly appreciated,Alberto

Hi, wondering if anyone has created something like an "Administrator-lite" role that gives the user an ability to do 90% of actions in the tool, but stay away from things like fx, mapping changes, and data loads.  I really just want these users to create cube views and reports only without giving them keys to everything else. Would this be solved by adding a new group, or any other recommendations on how to solve?  Thank you!  

Two part question. Comparing Actuals as other Rates to remove currency flux We want to take our Actuals and view at PYE, PYP & budget FX rates to take out flux in currency.  Is there a feature (outside of creating BR's or Alt Rate types) to do this. We currently have built 3 scenario for the above rates and it works as expected for base level members.  Where we run into issues is with converting to Reporting currency at parent members.  Ex is converting our EMEA entity (currency - EUR) to USD.  The BR seems to store the USD value at the base entity but is converting from EUR to USD at parent level using OS logic (ie current defined rate for Actual scenario).  It is not consolidating up the USD value but converting from EUR at parent member. This BR was created almost 6 years ago when we implemented so hoping there is something out-of-the-box now that will do this. I am exploring creating 3 new Rate Types: PY Budget, PYE Actual & PYP Actual.  I wo

Hi, I notice that with dashboards, when allowed to prompt the user for values for their parameters, save the  user's last used value in said dashboard and populate that as the default value when prompted. By comparison, cube views don't store that information, and populate whatever is in the default value for the parameter when prompted. Is it possible to change what behaviour is used when parameters are requested from the user from a dashboard, and how would I do so? Thanks! Alex

Hello! I need to split an entity into three separate entities using transformation rules and percentages. For example, I need to split E#50 into E#50B - 33%, E#50D - 33%, and E#50L - 33%. I've read that derivative transformation rules can be used for this purpose, but I'm unsure how to implement them. Additionally, I need to divide the amount of E#50B into two UD1s U1#2345 -50% and U1#2346 - 50%. Here's what I've attempted so far: What would be the proper way to do it? Ideally, we would like to store the percentages in UD4, so users can update them in a form. Is that possible? Thanks,   

Dear Community, Is there any way to delete the workflow channels in bulk? Currently we are in the process of deleting the unused UD7 members in the application and the workflow channels are setup based on the UD7 members. Since the UD7 members and the channels are in huge volume. Just wanted to understand if there is any rule or a marketplace solution which can be used to delete the WF channels in bulk? Hello - I'm using Parcel Service to generate/ship a Book. The book is an Excel export file of a Cube View. Very simple.I can get the Excel file to email properly through Parcel Service. But, I also want to save a copy of the Excel file in the OneStream file system. Does anyone know the syntax for the OS file share path? I've tried everything I can think of. Thanks,Bil 

Hello, I am trying to query a local app which have 200k rows on SQL server using SIC (Smart Integration Cloud). However, I get the message : "Received an unexpected EOF or 0 bytes from the transport stream." There is an online troubleshooting which I added below. It seems this is a memory issue. However, there's no mention on how to add memory (on the server ? on my local machine ? how to do it ?). --> could you please help me sorting this out ? Hi,I have a CubeView with indentation applied on row members. When exporting to PDF, I need all columns to fit on a single page. To do that, some column headers wrap onto two lines. The problem is that the indentation works only on the first line of the header. When the header text wraps, the second line is not indented, which creates a misalignment.Has anyone faced this? Is there a way to apply indentation on all lines of a wrapped header in PDF export? Thanks in advance

Hi everyone,I have an issue when exporting a CubeView to PDF.In the web view, column headers do not wrap. All rows have the same height and everything is aligned properly.When exporting to PDF, I need all columns to fit on one page. To do that, some column headers wrap onto multiple lines. The problem is that the row cells under these wrapped headers do not adjust their height accordingly, which causes a misalignment between headers and data cells.Is there a way to force the row cells to align with the wrapped headers in PDF? Or any workaround to keep the layout consistent while making sure all columns fit on one page?Thanks a lot for your help

Can I use Attribute dimension to write composite mapping with other dimension?Context- I am reading extra column from a TB load to drive the mapping.I want store this additional information in Attribute dimension (and not using any free UD)  and use that to do composite mapping.Is it possible?

Hello,We’re trying to display the date and time in the footer of our cube views in the following format:"Wednesday, April 16, 2025 - 16:27:13" (or "Mercredi 16 avril - 16:27:13" for a user with French culture settings).We are currently using the |DateTimeHHMMSS| variable, but it shows the server time (e.g., 14:27:13 instead of the user’s local time: 16:27:13).The native option via Application Properties > Show Date doesn’t meet our needs, as it displays the date in the format "4/16/2025" or "16/4/2025".We’re looking for a more readable format depending on user culture:"Wednesday, April 16, 2025" (EN culture)"Mercredi 16 avril" (FR culture)Does anyone know how to achieve this — displaying both the user’s local time and a culture-based, readable date format in the footer?Thanks a lot ! 

I am running some data loads using Batch Harvest. I want to be able to capture the Validate Transformation and Validate Intersections errors to include in an email.  I am able to get the Validate Intersections errors from the application table.  Does anyone know how I would get the Validate Transformation errors?   If I run the entire job within a BR then I can get the Transformation Errors, but I would rather run it through the Batch Harvest.  I appreciate any input.Thank you.Scott

I have a daily report in bi viewer. This works by selecting the Week from a combo box and then it displays the days within that week (based on a sql table). I want to have the prior weeks show up as totals. Can't figure out how to do this within BI viewer or if I'll have to create a more defined sql query. Below are the screenshots from current setup. In this example I want to also see W1-4 but at their totals.  Select Week combo box: 

Hi team, my client was excited to upgrade to 8.2 to center headers. After turning on this functionality, what we have found is below. Can you tell me if I'm missing a setting here to make it work like we want it to? Finding: It only works if it is the top row AND it is a single member repeating. Notice how the months aren't centered, also notice that even though the scenario is merged and in the center cell, it is not centered WITHIN the cell.    

Is there a way with the :Name(description1) parameter to make cubeviews stack the headers so instead of the header being like "Description1 Description2", the header is "Description1" over "Description2" in the Column Header?  Particularly in a pdf report.

Hi Everyone,  I have a source file which contains multiple accounts in the columns for one month. These accounts are not there in the cube. I do not have a ud4 dimension in the source file. Each source account should be mapped to an account and Ud4 member. for ex: Account a001 has to be mapped to account A#a1 and Ud4#cost. Similarly Account b001 has to be mapped to account b#b1 and Ud4#sale. A#[a001]=A#[a1]:UD4#[cost] A#[b001]=A#[b1]:UD4#[sale] How can this be achieved in the transformation rule. Also, the data source needs to have ud4 or not. Thanks, Jeevan
