Hi I'm looking to get the year from a time parameter to use in a cube view header. Is it possible to use the XFMemberProperty rule if possible?I've tried :Name(XFMemberProperty(DimType=Time, Member=|!TimeParameter!|, Property=Year)) but the system doesn't like it.Note, the following works to get the time description, but I'm looking to just get the year i.e. 2023XFMemberProperty(DimType=Time, Member=|!TimeParameter!|, Property=Description)Thanks,Mark
Hi all. So I have a book set up that creates an excel workbook based on a loop of entities. It works absolutely fine, however, the book is 300 worksheets or so. Therefore its pretty handy to have an Index page. Is there anyway to splice a worksheet not generated from the CV into this export? Also, books seem to forego the handy auto freeze pane on headers that excel exports do on execution. Does anyone have a BR that will do this? Thanks in advance! Tom
Dear community, We encountered an issue with clients' display screens in OneStream. In the cube view formatting, we use the font family Geomanist Regular, and we have defined the text for certain rows as bold or italic. When we run the cube views, the formatting is correct on the consultants' view, but the clients do not see the differences between bold vs. non-bold or italic vs. non-italic text. The text font appears to be different as well. Please see the screenshot below for references. Consultant's displayClient's display Currently, all project team members (consultants and clients) have administrator rights, and we do not have any other culture setting in the application. Can anyone suggest what we can check to resolve this?If there are any similar experiences, kindly share them with us. Thanks in advance!
When viewing the results of a cube view and using the Export to Excel button, the filename generated replaces spaces with "+" and adds "_Export" and the sheet/tab name of the file appears to be the cube view name. Is there a way to define these while still using the Export to Excel button? Perhaps a business rule attached in the cube view that defines them?
I have Delimited list parameter for scale in Cube views, when added the Cube views to Books and given the value to parameter using change parameters option but it's still prompting for it when I ran the book. Any suggestions, without updating the Cube views and get with Books only.
We are trying to pull WD HR data into OneStream. At this point, we are just trying to prove we can do it. I'm trying to setup a data adapter to pull the data using an SIC Direct Connection, but I don't know how to start with the data connector. What type of data connector? How do I tell the da to grab the data from the SIC? Searching the OneStream documentation for these yields nothing and the Foundation Guidebook doesn't speak to the particulars either.0 Kudos Reply
Hi , wonder if someone can help me, I have a dynamic account % = Dynamic calc Return api.Data.GetDataCell("Divide((A#Account ), (A#Account2 * 1060))") which works great in the CV , but in the graph it does not bring the calculation correctly, BI pulls the "average" of the YTD of the CV (orange cell)value I am looking for is the YTD calc. should be %75.1 it does work if I bring the Time in the filter for the YTD graphs, my CV is bringing T#WFTime, so the filter wont work as dynamic dashboard. Same issue with QTD, amounts in the CV in yellow are the correct values, BI Viewer is has the average of the yearif I hard key the WFTime it will only display one QTRI think my problem in the value, what condition rule do I need to have? the closest to actuals is average, but is not correctHopefully is something simple, I just cannot figure it out. thank youLC
I have a report that has a specific formatting request. The report uses two Member Expansions in the columns. The client requests that the 1st member expansion have no formatting, but the 2nd member expansion be in bold. Is it possible to apply different formatting to each member expansion? E.g Member expansion 1 is U1#Top. Member expansion 2 is the S#Actual. Client requests U1#Top be in plain text, while S#Actual be in bold. Thank you
I set the cubeview date to the prior year from the current month input. I can't get the report title date to show the prior year date, it actually shows the user cubeview date June 2021. My user input date is 2023M1, and report date is 2022M1 based on the formula T#YearPrior1(|!Param_Time_Select!|)Period(|!Param_Time_Select!|) in the Column formula. If I put |CVTimeDesc| in the title setting I get June 2021. How do I get the prior year to show of Jan 2022?
I have 2 rows named row1 and row2.1. Row1 has two members namely A and B.2. Row2 has three members namely C,D and E.Now, I want to add row1 and row2 so that it sum all A,B,C,D and E.Will this work or will it just take first 2 members(i.e A and C) of each row? GetDataCell(CVR(Row1) + CVR(Row2)):Name(TotalSum)
Hi,Can we someone disable/hide these button from the dashboards? There are few dashboards which are accessed by multiple users to input data. Accidentally , if any user clicks complete form after updating the numbers then it locks the dashboard and restrict users to input again. Its a hustle to explain the same thing again to the users to avoid clicking "Complete Form" button after every inputs. Is there any way where we can hide it so that they cannot mark the form completed?

How to migrate Report-Books from one Env to another in One Stream? Book is not available in the list of objects to export. Is it a different process as it comes to File Explorer?
Wondering if anyone can help with this one. This happens like 1 out of every 3 times logging into OS where when I click external service provider it just pulls this blank screen and won’t let me log in upon repeated attempts unless I fully shut down and restart excel.
Hello - I have a cube view that I created a connection to in Excel. The cube view has an O#Forms POV with a column configured to enter comments - can modify data is set to True, it has a V#VarianceCommentary member, etc. During testing I am able to submit comments through this Excel sheet, since I also see the comments within the application as well (I have a dashboard that calls a similar one set for commentary). However the users I built the CVs for are only able to submit comments through the application - when they attempt to add them through Excel, either they simply can't add text or when they click Submit Sheet at the top the comment disappears. I made sure the settings, cell formats, etc. for commentary are the same for both the application and Excel connection cube views. Are there any Excel specific settings that I need to check for these users?
I have this button that is replacing the value of the WFProfile with one from a parameter (which are all WFProfiles), and what I want it to do is that when I select a value, it updates in the workflow, and that in a label, the newly selected value is displayed. What is happening now is that when I open my dashboard, the menu to select the value is displayed, but when I select it, it doesn't change. I have to press the button again to refresh the workflow, and the label also updates to the new value.
Hi community,I am trying to pass a custom name function in the manner below:XFBR(XFBR_CubeViews, CustomTimeExpansion, timeExp=T#2020.Base, desc = :Name(|MFTimeShortDesc|))Somehow the XFBR is not able to append custom name function to the periods that are output in custom sort order. Its not reading the custom name function that i am passing to desc variable. Please help.
Hi all,I am designing a dashboard home page whereby users can navigate directly to the different Workflows for Statutory reporting and Management Reporting, via a button.I am utilising the Change Workflow action in the button settings to set the scenario, however I have an issue as it is not picking up the correct Cube Root Workflow Profile. As you can see in the screenshot below, Act_Stat and Act_Mgmt both sit under MGMT_ACT Cube Root WF Profile (and they both sit under STAT_ACT as well). So when my workflow is set to MGMT_ACT, and I run the button, it doesn’t open the scenario in the correct CRWP. I had a go at adding CubeRoot to the button POV Action, but it didn’t do anything.Does anyone have any idea how I can change the Cube Root Workflow Profile by using this button below, if at all possible? The less pop-up menus and clicks the better for the accountants!ThanksAndrew
Hi,While exporting the Cube View to PDF and Excel we are getting the below error,Unable to process Cube View because of the Nested Member Expansions resulting in 167,125,564 rows and the maximum allowed is 1,000,000 rows. We have tried by enabling the Sparse Row Suppression still we are getting the same error. Is there any way to resolve this error?Thank you.
When end users utilize the excel add in functionality, they are only able to calculate 1 year at a time using the calculate button. Is there a solution to allow users to calculate all (multiple) years shown on the cube view with a click of 1 button in the excel add in?
Hi all, I've col A and col B.I want to show a dynamically calculated col C which should be based on below logic: If col A has no data then display col B Else display col A Please suggest the best options to achieve this. Can it be handled in cube views or requires dynamic calc member formula. Thanks in advance
I'm currently cleaning up the CubeViews available in the system that has been created over the years and not maintained.I noticed that templates do not "run" when a CubeView report is generated, so this might confuse a user to believe that the CubeView used as a template is not actively being used. However, when deleting a CubeView assigned as a template, I will get notified that I can't delete it as it is being used by another CubeView.I would like to know if there are any other dependencies I should consider when deleting a CubeView. Eg: is it used elsewhere in the system like a rule, workflow, etc, so that I can avoid breaking any existing processes.
Kinda of a silly question I was building a cubeview and was trying to adjust the expansion on the layout. It was set to default view, which got me to wondering where are these default selections set. I first looked through the documentation, then remembered this is OneStream and this wouldn't be in any documentation. I know we can set all this up in templates but are these defaults stored someplace else that we can set them? Oh and I am not talking about the ones in the Application Properties.
Hi there, I am new to OneStream and would like to know is there any functionality to achieve below report output. I have two sections in my reports, the first section would be a header displaying what is the account used, and the second section would be the account breakdown by cost centres (e.g., Cost Centre A, B, C). I would like to have report layout in column B as shown in below mock-up. I tried using the :Name(|MFUD1Desc|), but it does not work as expected. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you. Jacky
I would truly appreciate any help you can provide in eliminating the blank rows in this pdf version below. These blank rows appear after my header, after all the current asset accounts, and again after total assets. Thank you.
