Hi!  Is there a way to verify the user types and total that you are licensed to have within the Onestream application?  I want to compare this number to our user agreement.  TYIA!

Dear all, Is there a way to block the consolidations if a technical parent is picked? There's a CubeView having the entity tree in rows and consolidation levels in columns. I'd like to only block all consolidations that have a technical parent (this would just polute the database). Is there a code example that could do this?Thank you for the help.Best regards,Carlos

There are two workflow profiles named Submission and Consol, Import TB falls under Submission and  Consol is under TotalConsol WF. When a new TB is imported and loaded to Import TB WF, the Consolidate Status ( Green Circle ) remains unchanged for TotalConsol WF. so another user will not know that the Consolidate step has to be retriggered as a new TB has been loaded.Is it possible to create a dependency such that whenever the the Import step is retriggered, the Status ( Green Circle ) of Consolidate is reset for TotalConsol WF ( to blue circle ) 

Is there a way to block running consolidation or any other calculations on a specific scenario both by the end-user and by the administrator? This limitation is to be applied only to the one archived scenario. 

Hello, I have this strange situation where information was entered with form input and for 1 of the entities the data disappeared on several accounts. This is in a scenario type1 scenario.  When information is entered again the old values can be found with Audit history for Forms from the drilldown. Any idea how this can happen, I would expect it only after a reset scenario, but that would remove also data for other entities, could also be by removing the entries, but there are several different forms, so that seems unlikely. kind regards Ben 

Hi! we are facing Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive in Europe, and we need to report in XBRL format since the 1st jan 2026. we are looking for solutions on how to report in this format from Onestream. Is there some tool / connector you may know that can be applied? Do you have any recommendations on the architecture to do that? Thank you!

Is there a way to see the current OS license that is installed?  We have recently had the number of user licences increased and now want to check that this has been applied, I'd hoped this would be in an obvious place like the environment or security but can't see anything that shows the current license (just being able to see the number of enabled users that the license allows would be a good start).

Is there a way to set the task manager to automatically read the calendar for the upcoming months? And assign the Work Days so the client don't need to have to load them manually in the system?

Hello OneStream community,  Since we've updated to PV710-SV202, the export of inventory list only has GroupID, which is less user friendly compare to GroupName. Has any one get any luck with getting GroupName included in the export?  Thanks! 

Hello,      I am having trouble with a selection screen on a Dashboard where items are moved from one ListBox to another. It is a multiselect=True but how can we have the items selected on the 2nd list box. I have to read this list in a BR but until and unless they are selected the item is not passed to the BR for further processing. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You, Indu

Hello, I mistakenly added a sub parent along with 3 base accounts to an alternate hierarchy.  Is there any way to remove the parent child relationship in the alternate hierarchy without removing it completely from the original hierarchy?

Hi, We have a Dashboard Maintenance Unit which requires a user to have maintenance access for the object to be able to open the dashboard. In which cases is it necessary to have maintenance access for a dashboard if you don't need to maintain it in the Application-tab?

Hi OS Experts: I have an existing hierarchy called "ControlMgt Hierarchy," which has several rollups underneath it. I need to recreate a new hierarchy named "ControlMgt Hierarchy_ALTERNATE," where "_ALTERNATE" will be added to all the rollups. The base elements will remain the same between the two hierarchies. I’m considering exporting the "ControlMgt Hierarchy" and updating it to include "_ALTERNATE" for all rollups in the XML file, and then importing it into the entity dimension. Is this possible? Will this create a new hierarchy, or will it overwrite the original hierarchy? Could you please suggest the best approach to accomplish this?

Hi, I need to know if I can put security to individual entities assigned to WF so that whoever has access to certain entities can only load/transform/validate for those entities and not all the assigned entities of the WF. Or,creating individual WF per entity is the way to go.

Hi, I am new to the OneStream. We have installed the Capital and People registers in our Dev environment and customized it as per our requirements. Now we are completed our development and are thinking of the ways to move the work to Prod. How do we migrate these registers along with customizations (rename the columns etc.) from Dev to Prod? What are different ways to move the registers from one environment to another?

Hi,What are the major considerations that need to be looked at before making a design decision for implementing "Tax" Scenario Type? What are the pros and cons of using this Scenario Type vis-a-vis "Actual" Scenario Type? Is there any guidance/ knowledge post on the same?Use Case: Want to integrate an erstwhile Tax application into OneStream Application where actuals are already available. The tax application has some additional tax related dimensions, rules, etc. which need to be used in OneStream. 

I am having XFGetCell formula cells in multiple workbooks (Sheets) within a Spreadsheet.Issue/Problem:When I tried to save a copy of this spreadsheet by selecting (OS Excel Add-in) OneStream/ Save Offline Copy, only the ACTIVE sheet saves an offline copy without the XFSetCell formula (as expected) but the other workbooks (sheets) still shows the XFSetCell formulas.I expected to see all the workbooks (sheets) to save without the XFSetCell formula (offline copy).Please can OneStream release an enhancement to save all the worksheets within a workbook to be saved as an Offline Copy i.e., without the XF() formula functions?

Dear Community Members,I have a spreadsheet rule in my own workspace assembly.The workspace is set to 'shareable'.But the BR does not show up when i try to add in Table View DefinitionWhen i define a rule outside of my Workspace in the regular Business Rule section my spreadsheet rule shows up.Did I miss a setting somewhere to tell Spreadsheet to look into Workspaces?Thanks in advance    

When attempting to upload a form input excel template with around 3,500 lines of data, the system throws the following error - "Unable to load file <filename>. The size necessary to buffer the XML content exceeded the buffer quota". However, when I reduce the number of lines, the file uploads successfully. Does anyone know if there is a row limit for form input Excel templates, or if there's a configuration change that can resolve this error?

I am trying to build a rule to copy data from one year/Forecast Scenario to another e.g Long term and have req to copy data to derived cell value but dont want data to be enable for input.Is there way to copy data? I tried DM job and Custom finance rule but it did not work.    

Trying to use IC Member Filter on the account dimension to limit the entities that can be used at IC partners for the account.  Does anyone know the syntax needed; I don't see any documentation on it.  I tried a list of just one entity member name and that didn't work.
