Hello, where can I find a simple guide to formatting my reports, especially in the ‘view reports’ view? Somehow it is difficult to insert blank lines without scenarios, just formatting, do you have a suggestion here? Also the underline frame somehow doesn't work properly, I need a thicker border line but the software doesn't seem to respond when I enter a value for the thickness. Any easy solution available? Hi,I would like to know what are the best practices for managing consolidation perimeters when the perimeter is not flat.I would also like to know if a company or subgroup leaves the perimeter, how is this structure maintained, can the old members be removed from the perimeter or should they remain forever? Hi, I need to copy data between 2 cubes . they both use different Entity Dimensions . Not Extended ones.so is there any way I can map the entities . I am using customcalculate DM with the Destination Data Units  to run finance rule. I have given the Source Entity and destination Entity in the Corresponding DataBuffers. But when I give  api.Data.ConvertDataBuffer("sourceCube","SourceScenario", databufferConvInfo, sourceDataBuffer). I am getting Error Saying "the Cube and Entity Are invalid or Incompatible". What is the issue ? Thanks.

Is there any way we can input the data at the Parent Entity: One Possible way is Set O#AdjInput and Set Account Property > Allow Adjustments to Data Entry to which I want to input data data.But I am sceptical as it will not allow me to allow Posting a Journal on the base level entity for the account. Is there any possible or better way to do this? If I dont find an answer I have to replicate the Accounts in a alternatate hierarchy with some suffix for the with same description and then copy the data to the original account. 😞 Regards, Nikhil     

Hello, I have created a button that opens a Book from File Explorer. This particular book requires prompts to run correctly, but when running the Book from the button, it skips the prompt dialog and runs with errors. Is there a way to have the button ask for the prompts before running the book? Thanks!

Hi Community, I have a rule that is using DataBuffer to copy data from 1 cube to another. The 2 cubes use separate Flow Dimensions . right now I have given in the following way : Is there any way I can give individual mappings of the base members instead of copying parent data. For example :Suppose BGBAL and EBAL are base members of F#SF_Movement. Map F#BGBAL in source Dimension to  F#BegBal in Destination Map #EBAL in Source Dimension to  F#EndBal. in Destination Is such data mapping possible ?. Thanks for the help.

Hi, is there a means of creating an administrator group but limiting access to certain dimensions, i.e. the group can see and perform all the same functions as administrators but just cannot see a specific dimension (such as a specific account)?

Has anyone had any issues Windows 11 and QuickViews? We have one individual only that cannot seem to run QVs, or if he can, it takes several minutes to do so. Any ideas what it could be that is causing this? We are on an old version of OS. We changed some preferences in the QV and that helped. We have had IT look at his setup and they found nothing out of the ordinary. We are at a total loss as to why one individual is having problems out of 50 + users. Any ideas will help. Thanks

I am writing the Business rule in Revenue % account dimension,  Revenue % = X / PY Y. My PY can be based on POV. For example, if user can select current year as FY2024 then PY is FY2023 or If user choose MAY 2024, then PY is MAY 2023 or if user choose Q2 2024 then the PY is Q2 2023.  I am using this code and I am able to achieve if it is year, but I need more of dynamic based on user selected PoV. how to automate this code based on PoV. any suggestions would be really appreciated. Hi. We are currently working on a project for a company to analyse their daily sales. The information is not in the cube, so we are using components such as Charts, Pies and even the BI Viewer to display the information in an attractive way. This information is not in the cube because the table we use as the database in the application has more than 400,000 records. Firstly, when working with data that is not in the cube, we cannot add the components we want to a book because the only components (not including cube views) that can be added to a book are charts and reports. For example, if we create a BI viewer, we will not be able to add it to a book. At this point, we would like you to recommend which would be the best component and how we should prepare a dashboard to have these two characteristics that our customer requires. - Being able to navigate from one chart to another by clicking on the same chart (open dialogue) (Can be done in advanced chart)- Dynamic filtering between diff

Dear Community Members,I have cloned the Blueprint OSB_CustomTranslate to apply code when FunctionType FxRate fires. My cube is set to Standard Using Business Rules for FxRates.My business rule is set as Business Rule 1 (and 2 as a matter of fact for logging purposes only).I am running Translate, Custom Translate, Consolidate, ForceConsolidate but i cannot get the FXRate FunctionType to fire.  I am logging in the rule to get a log message for every different FunctionType that fires.  Getting Calculate but not FXRate.Any tips would be much appreciated.  I am sure the resolution will be utterly embarassing but i am at the end of my wits.

I'm working on a custom Table View that returns People Planning Plan Data for our users.  The new requirement is to also bring in the Currency of the data. This means I need to bring in the Currency that is assigned to a given Entity (i.e., Currency assigned in Entity Member Properties in the Settings section).  I've looked through the Member, MemberDescription, and MemberProperty Application Database Tables but cannot seem to find where the Currency name is stored.   If anyone can point me to where I can find an Entity's Currency stored in the Application Database Tables, that would be fantastic. 

Our client provides a data file with Cost Center members including Parent/Child Relationship. They would like to Automatically update new Cost Centers when the data file is loaded. Any existing Cost center moves from one parent to another should also be handled (instead of Merging it should Replace). Appreciate any pointers or advice if anyone has worked on solving similar requirement.

Hi, Has anyone updated and added new member in metadata by using extender rule by picking the member information from SQL table or any other data warehouse?
