Hi All, I am trying to display percentage values for the different continents in a BI Viewer component with a Choropleth Map. The display of the values works, but I would like to see only one label per continent, as is the case with South America, for example, and not for each individual country, as is the case with Africa and the other continents. Is there a way to change the labeling to only once per continent?

We currently have a cube view built out to compare specific GL account values from quarter to quarter. Some of these values needs to be translated using using FX rates. We have AverageRate and ClosingRate, but when assigning the Currency in the Cube view it seems to default to AverageRate, but the requirement is to be using ClosingRate values.  Is this best way to do this through an XFBR rule? Help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

What are the different options available to integrate SAP RISE (SAP Cloud) to OneStream? Is there any adapter available? have anyone implemented this integration?

Hello OneStream Experts: I created an account called MyAcct to store calculation. I run the business rule in Data Management step and put Net Income to MyAcct. api.Data.Calculate("A#MyAcct = A#NETINC") After I run the business rule, the Calc Status in View dimension show CA for both NETINC and MyAcct. However, after I run right click the data cell to run consolidation or Calculation, the value in MyAcct got lost, the calc Status for NETINC became OK. I wonder why my calculated account lost the data value after I run consolidation. Thank you advance for any answers.

Hi, I'm a new-ish user to OneStream and the QuickViews.  Is there a way to prevent a dimension from repeating when you refresh - for example, I want monthly (periodic) columns with a specific UD#7 variable - we will call it A.  Then, I want YTD with a different UD#7 member, B for YTD view.  Whenever I refresh the QuickView, OneStream will give me both A and B for all periodic and YTD data.  Is there a way around this? I don't want YTD with UD#7 member A or Periodic with UD#7 member B but not sure what I need to change for the ad-hoc build.  Thank you!

Hello there, As intuitive as it seems, I'm trying to pass bound parameters from a CView to a DM Sequence. Upon selecting a CView cell, I click on a 1st button to open a dialog window (at this stage, bound params are resolved). But, within this dialog, once I click on 2nd button that launches my DM Sequence that uses the previously resolved params; I retrieve " |!mySelectedAccount!| " instead of the needed value. Button Configuration: DM Step Configuration: Solution Attempts: Since I am able to retrieve the bound params on the 1st button click, I tried storing them to a 'Literal Parameter' that uses an XFBR to string.join values, but when I try retrieving the literal param value i get " XFBR(BR,Function, Account=|!mySelectedAccount!|, Entity= ... " instead of resolving the XFBR ( Which is normal ?) I tried using "Globals" but I get the same result ... literal value instead of resolved value

Hi all, Currently I have a cube view with GetDataCell formula for ad hoc calculation, may I know is there any rounding off function in the GetDataCell formula? For example, we would like to have a formula like Round(A#100) - Round(A#200). Thanks a lot for any possible solutions.

Hello OneStream experts: I created and account=MyAccount and put member formula. api.Data.Calculate("A#MyAccount = A#NETINC") I set AccountType=Dynamic Calc Formula Type=Formula Pass 1 I am able to compile the syntax and run the calculation successfully. But MyAccount account member showing no data from my quick view excel sheet. My NETINC account has data. I wonder why the calculation is not working. Thank you for any feedbacks.

Hi , I used the journal event handler extensibility rule available on the forum in order to segregate the approval and post process. The issue that i am having is that once the user submits the journal or quick posts it the page does not refresh on its own and the user has to manually refresh the page to the see the journal status . Basically it should show the submitted status and approval and reject buttons highlighted but it only shows that after the user manually refreshes. Is there a way we can refresh the page after the message is displayed?  

Hi all, I have created cube view wherein I have used E#Test.Base in Member Filter 1  (Test have 2 children A and B). I need A and B in Member Filter 2 to act as param value in the Dashboard XFBR String. How can I achieve this ? Thanks

Hi All , I was trying to build a dashboard with a Index or a guided List like below. For the below dashboard these are the steps I took :  a. Created A Delimited Parameter  with all the reports  b. Created an embedded dashboard with the value of this parameter  c. Created a List Box with the delimited parameter.  So on the Main dashboard when one click on any of the values on the list , the Dashboard opens on the right.  Although it works , I noticed that the performance of the dashboard is quite bad compared to if I create the same dashboard with tabs .  Both the dashboards are using the same underlying cube view then why is there a difference in Performance ?  Is there something wrong with my approach ?  Tabbed dashboard   Regards, Saurav

We have developed cube view for BS level commentary to avoid the business excel and email conversation on close process.But we need suggestion on threshold setup to commentary column to allow users to input. Ex: If Var% > 10% only users allow to enter commentary else   not.

I am working with text editors and found that when I try to undo something I keep getting the "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." error. Does anyone know if this has been fixed in newer versions (currently using 7.4.2 for this) or if there is a way to fix this within the application?

I've had requests from our finance team about sharing entities from our "Top" cube into another. Our application is in a mature phase now and many of the entities from our top cube will be moving into cubes of their own.  Currently, we only have two options: Option1: Completely clear the entity, delete, and the create in the new cube and reload the data.  Option2: Rename the entity i.e "EntityA_Old" and create a new entity in the new cube with the old name "EntityA" It would be great if there were a better option

If a holiday falls within the duration of a closing period, is there a way to shift the Work Day (WD) due dates of the tasks for that Entity/Work Flow?  For example, we have a Mexican Entity with a WD due date on WD 4.  In May, there was a holiday on WD 1 (May 1st).  In our business, the Mexican Entity's due date to submit financials would be extended to WD 5 because of the holiday.    But since the due date did not fall on the actual holiday, the WorkDay due date in Task Manager still says WD4.    Is there a work around for this other than manipulating the holidays and creating a "dummy holiday" on WD4 so that the due date will extend the extra day to WD5?

Hello! Any inputs or documentation for configuring the SFTP process with SIC?Recently we have installed the SIC and configured successfully and was able to pull the data. We are facing issues with the SFTP process with SIC, followed the SIC admin guide and configured by creating a new gateway and copied the Gateway info to the OneStream Smart Integration Connector Local GatewayServer Configuration Utility, but the status in OneStream shows as 'offline'.TIA!!
