We are looking to have a cube view that uses a parameter or CV Extender to possibly control the primary dimension selection. This is used in a dashboard to show metadata selections with the dimension in the rows and ud8 dynamic formulas across the columns. Looking to see if anyone has any ideas on doing the dimension selection dynamically to use one CV only for display

Dear colleagues, Could you please advise why error Pov occurred in cube view calculated columns (I use formula GetDataCell in member filter in these columns) when I click save button in order to save text comments in column VarianceExplanation (this column contains member V#VarianceExplanation). When I reload this cube view again this error removes, and I also see that text was saved. See below error:  

Hi all,   Here's the situation: There are several CV with the same accounts as rows (CV1, CV2, CV3, etc.) that have slightly different columns. For each main CV, it's needed to drill down until arriving to the base. Would it be possible to set a navigation CV to a common CV with dynamic columns so that the CV can adapt to each main CV? I would like to avoid creating a CV set for each main CV.   Thank you

I have a cubeview with 1 Row = A#NetIncome.TreedescendantsInclusiveR. I would like to have the accounts collapsed, so that the report doesn't have all the accounts/rows expanded.I have set RowExpansionMode = CollapseAll, but it did not change anything and all rows are still expanded. Am I missing some other configurations?

I have an issue that I have seen before I never figured out so want to see if others have encountered this and figure out what I am doing wrong.  I have a data adapter that calls a Dashboard Dataset BR to get populated.  I pass in a parameter like "Parameter1=|!SomeOtherParam!|".  When I use "args.NameValuePairs.XFGetValue" to get the Parameter1 value is returns "|!SomeOtherParam!|".  I expect to see the actual value of SomeOtherParam or nothing but not the literal param with pipe and exclamation mark.  Has anything encountered something like this before?

I am trying to create a label which needs to display the gross profit in my dashboard. I have created a data adapter (when running the adapter, it's showing the relevant data) and attached the same in the label. But I am not getting any data in label. Can someone help/suggest what I am missing?

Hello, I was wondering if it's possible to have a check figure if the amount equals 0 that it displays "OK" and if it doesn't it says "Check Details". I've tried conditional formatting when the cell amount = 0 then "OK", but I figured I'm missing something or this might just not be possible. Thanks, Will

Hi All,  I create a spreadsheet business rule to refresh the data from external table using Table Views, now our users wants to drop these files into OneStream file share on daily basis so external systems can consume.  Is it possible to use parcel service to refresh these files (using table views with in the spreadsheet) and drop them into file share every time the job trigger ?  Or Is there any alternate approaches to export data from custom table to excel files ? Thank you.

Has anyone been able to successfully obtain a parent name for a member, within a UD8 formula without needing to leverage a text field on the member (using Parent Sort Order for example)? As an example, I have a base level entity member of B1229 (this is Branch). I would like to return D1229 - Chicago based on its' parent sort order of 2 (this is District). Appreciate any insight!

Hello,I know you can center columns in a report, but is there a way to do this for cube views exporting to excel? I've only found a workaround where you go to export it to report and then change it to excel, but this won't work for us longterm.Would like to be able to do this - ok with either embedded or just exporting. 

Hi everyone, Good day. We are new to OneStream, and we are building a cube view wherein it outputs quarterly columns for a certain year. However, it only outputs the last period/month for the quarter. For example, under the Q1 Appliances, it shows 305,221,004. But, if I drill down on quarter 1, I can see that the amount per month when totaled, it is equivalent to 607,036,638. This also applies to the 2024 column, it only shows the Q4 value and not the sum of all quarters. I already tried to consolidate and calculate, but it is still the same.  Thank you for those who will share their inputs.

Hello,I have parameter a specific POV on an Excel sheet and want to duplicate it on another Excel sheet.The QuickView Option to duplicate is only available in the same sheet.I tried to copy the file and then move the sheet to the previous file but it doesn't work.Is there a solution? Maybe to copy the POV to make it applied in the new one?(I know I can parameter the default POV to initialise it via the OS app but I need to keep the POV in 'black' to fix it whatever the POV initially parameter)Thank you

Hi, I have an admin Workflow Profile where I have children steps that are different dashboards. I would prefer not to create these as Forms steps as I want to certify each step and not every Form. I have system default settings to set this as Profile Active True/False. Is it possible somehow to change so this is only Active for months which are not a quarter?  I want to remove this from the Workflow Profile in quarter months to avoid and eliminate the risk of someone using this dashboard in a quarter.    

Hi all, We have a CV that we want to suppress based on V#Footnote values but the suppression seems to ignore this column and only suppress based on number values. Is that true? Is there any workaround or any way to have OS recognize text as a value to base the suppression on? Any info would be helpful! Thanks!

Hi allI have a tableview that retrieves cube data and adds the stage data for the cube data. It is displayed in a spreadsheet which has conditional formatting to highlight the stage records. My problem is that all the formatting is wiped when the tableview is executed. I have tried to format the rows in the tableview but the only option I can find is for column format.Does anyone know if it is possible to retain the formatting in a spreadsheet when using tableviews. Failing that anyone know how to format the rows in a tableview (I want to format some not all rows).Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks Marcus

Howdy,When using Guided Reporting, the Selector List Labels are not being positioned correctly. As shown below, the label is positioned on top of the next parameter (to the right) instead of the parameter it's associated with. Has anyone experienced this before and have a solution?  Additional information:Occurs in every report when viewing in Guided ReportingGlobal Selector List Labels are aligned as expected  Thanks in advanceMantis
