Workflow and Data Integration

Copy pasting multiple rows / columns seems to auto transpose the values (turns rows into columns, and columns into rows). This is frustrating for end users who are trying to use the cube views to input their values.  Is there a fix for this?

When using cube views to input values, it seems that we are unable to copy paste % values. We must convert it to numerical values and only then does OS allow paste into the % input cells.  Is there a fix for this?

Hi all, I am currently working on the transformation rules for my client. Because of our client needs, I would need to duplicate the data from one source account into two OS target accounts (same functionality as Logic Groups in FDM).  Is there a similar functionality in OS? Thank you 

Hello there,As the title implicates, I am trying to cancel the current running workflow task through a Business Rule (Transformation EventHandler). My workflow is the ETL process (Import, Validate, Load), I wrote an event handler to catch all rejects from 'Transformation' and 'Validation' steps then updates the Transformation Rules to ByPass these rejects.My problem is the following: - After positioning myself on the event: BREventOperationType.Transformation.ValIntersect.FinalizeValidateIntersect, I execute a code that catches the validation rejects & updates the transformation rules accordingly. However, when I 'Revalidate/ReTransform' I get an error saying [ Workflow Unit already has a running task [ValidateTransformation - WP#TestWF.Import:S#Actual:T#2022M10], cannot start task [ValidateIntersections - WP#TestWF.Import:S#Actual:T#2022M10] until current task completes.]Is it possible to modify a task's status to 'Completed' so I can relaunch the validation a secon

Hi, We are using an application called Certent Disclosure Management (CDM) as part of our consolidation and close process for external reporting. For this we have built links between CDM and cube views to extract data. My question is, is it also possible to link to a spreadsheet held somewhere in the application? We have EUC's that have to be sent to CDM which contain data not available in OneStream. For this we use a SFTP 'pipe'. I was wondering whether if we held the files in OneStream would it be possible to transfer that data to CDM in much the same way as we do with data in Cube Views? The answer is probably 'no', but I just wanted to ask the question. Thanks

I am copying a scenario to scenario to rename it as the latest one, we are trying to delete the copied numbers to do the copy over again, but the copied numbers are not deleting and the numbers resides only at parent level, ran consolidation as well but numbers not deleting and it seems like some ghost data, need help on this on how to delete those numbers.The copy over was done using Data Management job.OSAdmin - Attached some screenshots for reference.

Hi all,  In my delimited upload file (trail balance) there are two columns that include amounts: beginning balance and the sum of periodic movements. The sum of the two is the number I want uploaded in the import stage.  Is there a way to make OneStream add an additional calculated column (source dimension) to the datasource with the sum of the two columns (so prior to transformation / validate / process)?  Any help would be much appreciated!

1. We have a very basic "standard entity workflow" with Import, Forms and Adjs.2. Local uses does his job and lock the workflow and the related entity assigned to that workflow. Fine..... And now we are lost.How the consolidator can post central adjs OwnerPostAdj? If we try to post the journal we receive:"Data validation error. Workflow Profile 'BlaBlaBla' is locked for 'Actual', '2023M4', 'AdjInput', and Workflow Channel 'Standard'."Is there a native configuration to enable "OwnerPostAdj" on a locked company?Or, if it is not a standard Onestream feature, are you aware of any a basic workaround to enable it ?Thanks in advanceMarcello

Does anybody know if there is a dashboard that shows the Workflow Statuses for all workflows. Like the right click on workflow Status & Assigned Entities.

Hello,Struggling today with a simple input form. For any entity I can write data, but not for 1 exception. I tried in workflow, or separate cubeview with varying dimensions which all worked before.Also for the same entity in other scenarios with a different scenario type I can write data.Authorization seems not the issue, after changing to Everyone it still shows as read only.Could something block the entity for input in a scenario?Thanks in advance for your any help! 

Hello all, My client recently upgraded to the most recent version of OneStream. Previously when loading data, the first line on the Load tab would show the total of bypassed records. We've noticed since the update, this no longer shows. Is it possible to turn this back on?Before:After:  

In a DM Sequence with multiple DM steps (Data Import or consolidations) does the memory that each DM step consume will be released at the completion of each DM step OR it will be on hold till the completion of the DM sequence it is part of? 

Hi,I have a user requirement to drill back to NetSuite Web URL from OS Cubeviews.In the NetSuite Web Page there are selection drop downs to select the Account, Customs and Time Periods. Based on the selection, detailed data will be retrieved from NetSuite and displayed in the NetSuite Webpage.They would like to auto populate the NetSuite drop downs (Account, Customs and time) from the OS Stage data (Drill down data) and display the detailed data from NetSuite in the Webpage.I understand we can drill back to the Web URL, however is it possible to auto populate the NetSuite drop downs from OS Drill Back option? 

Can a Connection String for an external database server connection be modified directly in the OneStream UI to an existing OS Cloud implementation  -- without creating a Support Request to have it changed?  Likewise, can a new External Database Server connection string be created through the OneStream UI in an existing OS Cloud implementation?  Or does that also require a ticket?  I seem to remember that this ability to edit Cloud settings was added recently -- through a Solution? Or am I thinking of SIC?

I have a DM job that imports data using WF.Even though there are intersection validation errors in the WF,Task activity status of the "Validate Intersection" task shows completed. It moves on to importing next period even with errors.Is this expected behavior and is there a setting to show intersection validation failures in Task activity status?
