Hi, How can I filter accounts by the plug account property just like I can filter by other account properties such as text? I am creating a CubeView and I need to show a series of accounts that have in common "x" plug account, but I am not able to filter accounts by the plug account property. Regards,

Hello, Does anyone maybe know if it is possible to create an endpoint in OneStream that will consume data pushed out to OneStream from SAP? In this case, SAP or another external solution would be the initiator of the connection. OneStream can consume the data it receives.

Hello Everyone,We have been using ExecuteFileHarvestBatch to automate our Data Loads. However I could not make it work for Direct Load profiles.Is anyone aware if we have api support to automate Direct Loads?

Hi, is there a limit on the number of cells that can be updated through Table Views?  We have a large table, 250 rows by 140 columns.  When we try to update all values at once, there are many cells that do not update.  When we only load 10 or so rows at a time, it updates all values correctly. thanks, Greg

Hello Experts,I'm trying to automate an export of account hierarchy which is then used to replicate same hierarchy in another app/tool. However, when I export Metadata in XML (tried both via Business Rule or via Application>Load/Extract) , it doesn't capture information on order of arrangement among siblings.So, while loading XML extract to new app, by default all siblings are arranged in ascending order of their member names.Is there a way to capture this information when doing export? Thanks,Gaurav

OneStream is the best EPM app for consolidation and everything planning - it is going to kill Hyperion / Essbase !! Does anyone have a sample business rule BR for sorting rows in a column based on values in a column.  e.g. in screen shot, I want to sort by ascending order of values (NR) in column B  in Cubeview? I probably have a written something similar long time ago, but would like to see if someone else wrote a better BR.

Consolidation/Cube model can be set as YTD (Year To Date) or Periodic. In OneStream where do we set it up other than Scenario ?

Hi - not sure if this is the correction 'board'. OneStream Community,    We upgraded our on-prem OneStream 7.4.2 to 8.1.1 in our test environment.  We use SSO authenticating to external provider  GCCH.  Since upgrading the OS 8.1.1 application signon screen no longer fills in with the User name.  (please see screen shots).   This appears to be a BUG. Any insight is appreciated. Screen shot of our OS production – user name is filled in Upgraded our test OS from 7.4.2 to 8.1.1 – User Name is no longer filled in.

I have a OS Batch File Load Setup which loads Multi Year and Multi Period Data(3 Years).I have an Extender Business Rule that creates the Batch File one period at a time and calls BRAPi.Utilities.ExecuteFileHarvestBatch to execute the data load one period at a time. Data Source is a connector.The issue I have is every time when I run the batch one of the WF steps (Validate Transformation, Validate Intersection or Load Cube) freezes and make no progress after executing roughly 10-12 periods. It doesn't make progress even after an hour wait. I will have to cancel the running task and batch and then restart the data management job with the next period forward. Again, it runs fine for 10-12 periods and freezes again.Appreciate any recommendations/suggestions to try resolve this issue. I am not sure if this related to any OS configuration that allows data loads for long time.

Apologies if this question has been answered elsewhere - I have been searching for a while but didn't find anything that solves my problem.I have a cube view with a single column whose member filter is T#|CVTime|.BaseIt displays 12 columns, which is great - one for each period of our fiscal year. For example, if CVTime is 2025 then the cells of each column going left to right will have their POV Time as 2025M1, 2025M2, ... 2025M12. Wonderful!However, on a single row within the cube view, I want to instead display values from the previous fiscal year using a column override for that row.  In other words I want the POV Time for the cells in that row to be 2024M1, 2025M2, etc.Seems straightforward but the two seemingly obvious options I tried do not do the trick:T#YearPrior1(|CVYear|).Base  (yields 2024 for each column.) T#YearPrior1(|CVYear|.Base) (yields 2025M1, 2025M2, ... 2025M12)   - I don't know if it matters but it's not clear to me if that's how the syntax

hello experts, we are using Actuals scenario with default view as YTD. Since it is YTD in nature, P&L accounts show reversal for next period (periodic view).we tried updating the property (see attached screenshot, updated highlighted to periodic) but still i'm seeing reversal for few entities. Pls see 2nd screenshot of data. Apr is the current month and May is the next month.  Can you please let us know if it is possible to avoid P&L reversal (periodic view) for next period by updating No Data Zero View for Non-Adjustment as Periodic for a scenario that has YTD as default view.     

Does anyone have information on how to get Data Cell Access (Slice) Security (henceforth DACS) to work when applying it to multiple UD dimensions?  The app has the entity and scenario security set.  Those are working fine.  If I put only one UD in the DACS, that also works fine.  The problem comes in when subsequent UD dimensions are added to the DACS.  It seems OneStream ignores the DACS and goes back to entity and scenario security. To add a bit more information, I have tried it multiple ways, with the multiple UDs in the same or different rows in the DACS setup.  It doesn't matter. Thank you.

I have built out an extensible document in PowerPoint that extracts a set at dashboards out of OneStream. I have charts displaying data for the current month, and previous two months.  I am having trouble using a variable to label the two previous months. For the current month, I just use the |CVTimeDesc| variables and it labels it correctly. But I can't seem to find a variable that works to display the prior period months description. Something along the lines of |CVTimePriorDesc|... Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Is there a way to format 'NoData' cells so that when the report exports to excel it shows a dash or 0, instead of the cell being blank?

I have an IsOptional=True direct connect Import/Validate/Load Workflow channel.  I would like to be able to Complete this Workflow channel via the OS api without having to import/validate/load anything, the same as if someone selected the 'Complete Workflow' button just to the right of the 'Clear' button in OnePlace.  Actually, I have a number of such workflows, some are only required for M12 and others are placeholders for data that is being copied directly into the cube from other non-linked cubes. I can complete/revert the Workflow channel if it is set to Workspace using BRApi.Workflow.Status.SetWorkflowStatus().  And I can revert Import/Validate/Load workflows with the SetWorkflowStatus() too, but I do not appear to be able to complete the WF unless I'm at the last step or advance the steps with SetWorkflowStatus(). The BRApi.Import.Process.* functions will advance me through the Import/Validate/Load steps, but I cannot see how to do so without the functions imp

Hello, We have a client who has requested the ability to use the alternate translation currency property on specific parent entities but then also to be able to pull that alternate currency in reports without changing the currency in the POV. For instance, the parent entity's currency is USD and it will be setup with EUR as an alternate translation currency in the equity pickup property section. The children of that parent entity are all EUR currency entities. In their reporting they would like to be able to show parent entity and children at the EUR without changing the Cons POV. The reporting could have multiple instances of this setup with different entities and currencies so setting the Cons to EUR wouldn't be an optimal solution. Ideally, they would like to set the consolidation to local for the whole report. We have alternate hierarchies setup but they would like to only worry about one member name for the parent and one hierarchy. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to achie

Hi OneStreamers,  is it somehow possible to reference a System Extender rule from an application level business rule (e.g. Dashboard XFBR String)? We would need this to centralize some functions, that should be available and standardized across multiple OneStream applications.   Thanks Markus

Hi all, Due to requirement,the conso type we use is force consolidation,while doing which noticed that more time is taken during "Aggregate child entities" and that too for specific year (2024). When drilled through it,noticed there are huge number of data cells processed for each entity. Example: for entity A,scenario 2024_241_M2 and time 2024M2,possible member combinations along with other UD dimensions is expected to create data  cells in 1000s (at the max) but noticed there are around 40k plus data cells created that stores value 0.(E#A:S#2024_241_M2:T#2024M2:U1#A_001:U2#None:U3#None....U8#None stores 0) I tried to clear the invalid data cells using clearcalculateddata as well as using data buffer, but nothing worked.Im still able to see 40k plus data cells. Kindly suggest options that clears the data cells itself and remove the invalid member combinations. Thanks

Hi, I want to block Consolidations in prior year Forecasts and Budgets, as these should always be static.  I've already locked all Workflows,  but I'm still worried that Admins can run consolidations from Cube Views, etc. I've tried using Data Access in the Cube,  but none of that seems to actually do anything.  For example, I tried adding a Data Cell Conditional Input rule that makes the prior year and Forecast scenario Read Only,  but this doesn't prevent Consolidations from running. Any ideas?
