Hello all, Hoping you may share some thoughts on this. For the workflow, we have created security groups : 1. for input users (WF_Preparer) assigned to the Workflow steps in the Workflow execution Group  2. review users (WF_Review) assigned on the Workflow profile in the Workflow execution Group and Certification Sign-off Group. The preparers and reviewer users are, of course, different. However, as mistakes can happen, is there any possibility to prevent an Admin to assign the same user in both groups? Can the system issue an error or a message when trying to add a user to one role if it already exists in the other? Thank you!      

We use Text3 property of UD1 members to save Status of the member (member is a change request). We are having an issue with this approach. When we create a new member, we set its Text3 property for scenario type and Time to "Draft". If we change the value to some other status via rule or manually, it saves it fine. When we create a new member or update an existing UD1 member (any change in member properties) the value of all existing members reverts back to "Draft". Does anyone have any idea how to fix this issue. We are using 7.2.4 version.

Hello, I just need help flipping a sign on a final report.  Here is the data: Here is the report (there is a negative sign in front of the number insert): And here is what my OneStream is showing: I went into transformation rules and flipped the sign on those 2 accounts, but that did not help: Does anyone have any suggestions? Hi!    Ok here is my data:  Here is my data sources: Here is my application properties: If I have Global DataKey Scenario on for both Scenario and Time in Data Sources, why am I getting this error message: No valid DataKeys (Scenario / Time) found in data source. Review the source data load processing log and check one-to-one transformation rules to ensure that you have created proper Scenario and Time dimension rules for this data source When I try uploading? Does anyone know if I need a transformation rule and what that would be? Thank you!

Hi,   I have been trying (unsuccessfully) to configure my OneStream app against an azure AD. I have created an Azure AD and followed the steps that are in OS documentation. However when I try to login with my email which is configured against my Azure SSO I get a message "The external provider authentication provider settings in the XF Application Server Configuration file are invalid". My OS app is a local installation on my machine. Many thanks !

How do you add a data key to a OneStream application?

Hello, Here is an example of what we are trying. We have set the close dates and created a task in task manager which has a data management sequence as action and the start hour.  Does Task manager run the data management task as per the start hour given? The Auto execute option runs the task when the task is approved but we are trying to run the task at the scheduled time using task manager. Thanks in advance!

Hello, Wondering if anyone knows how to set up dimensions in order to have the following requirement :  - Users with access to the cube Consolidation need access only to data from the dimension B - Users with access to the cube Accounting need access only to data from the dimension C - Users with access to the cube FP&A need both access to data from the dimensions B & C (dimension A) The following setup does not yet meet our needs :  Thanks for your help. After doing more work on this, we noticed that it looks like the data access security is applied on an app server-by-app server basis, and the app server that's used to handle the security is based on the app server that handles the user's log in. For example, if my log in action is handled by AppServer1, the data access security that's applied to my session is determined by the security that's currently applied in AppServer1. Hi, I'm trying to copy consolidated data from one Cube to another one. All the process works perfectly except for the consolidated data. C#Elimination is not being imported. Can we do input in multiple currency? How can we do input in other currency apart from Local? For example, if I have IN entity, I want to do input in SG, USD and other currency?

Hi, Is there any way to remove users from the groups by using Load/Extract option from the system tab. i know we can add new groups or users but i want to remove the existing user from existing groups via xml. Thank you in Advance, much appreciated for the help. Thanks Satish P 

I created a USD Override form, however the translated value and the override value are both getting to the Top member. How can I format this cube view to not display column names after it's been identified once? I want to retain the first instance of the Consolidation member, Local and Elimination (in red) but not have to see it more than once (in purple).

Hi All, We've recently encountered a problem whereby a OneStream journal entry booked in local currency at year end 2023 is not reflecting correctly in 2024. In the example provided below you'll see that the local currency amount has rolled forward correctly, however this is then not being translated to our reporting currency (USD). We've tried looking through the BR on the flow dimensions but haven't been able to identify the source of the problem. Any help here would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, 

If a member has no parent then it's an orphan but if a parent member had children and they all get moved, the former parent is now... Regardless of the term, this company loves to do big reorgs a couple times a year that leave whole branches of a hierarchy empty. It's put me in the weird situation of having to hunt down these obsolete (disowned?) parents and manually remove them because they're now base level members with data and consolidations don't clear them the way I expected. From a technical viewpoint, I can see why this happens, as it's now just a base member that happens to have data and the consolidation doesn't particularly care *how* the data got there so it's not going to remove it. It's just... counterintuitive, unwanted, wrong, and generally annoying. For the most part, they've just orphaned the offending ex-parents and ignored them, forever. The few they have deleted have been cleared via the rather laborious method of creating a new (empty) member under the obsolete pa
