Hey All,We got a recent requirement of implementing a conditional statement inside the cube view columns. The user wants to calculate a certain column on the basis of the value of another column. The design is explained below:If B <> 0 thenD= B+Celse if B = 0 thenD= A+CABCD1010020120 (100+20)200130150 (20+130)0203050 (20+30)I'm currently facing difficulty to implement this solution inside the cube view. Is there a way to drill through the entity hierarchy in a Quickview that shows the total of Top in the Consolidation dimension? I have users asking me if this is possible.   In the example above 87M is the total amount of the child entities including eliminations showing in the second Quickview but no total. The first Quickview is at local before eliminations therefore doesn't addup to the total of 87M. I've tried to use CAD but get the same numbers as local.

If a POV has more than one dynamic calc member (for example Account and UD8) does anyone know the sequance they are calculated in?  I assume, and it appears from a little testing I have done, that it is similar to how it works in DUCS and it goes Account, Flow, UD1, etc but looking to confirm.  Thanks.

I am trying to call a cube view extender Business Rule assemblies from a cube view. Not sure if I am missing anything. I looked at the reference manual and followed how it was defined in the manual.  Cube view extender BR Assembly   calling the assembly from the Cubeview.  

Hi all,I have a simple cube view where on the row I have Tree expansions, like the following one:UD5#MemberName.TreeThe reason I am using Tree instead of TreeDescendantsInclusive or others is because I want the rows to collapse on opening  and RowExpansionMode=CollapseAll only works with Tree for the first dimension of the row as far as I now.Now, the issue is that I would like to remove a member from the rows and the Remove does not seem to work on Tree, while it works on TreeDescendantsInclusive and others.U5#MemberName.Tree.Remove(U5#None) returns this (expansion enabled=yes, none removed=no):U5#MemberName.TreeDescendantsInclusive.Remove(U5#None) returns this (expansion enabled=no, none removed=yes):Is there a way for me to have both the ability to expand/collapse the rows and remove members from the hierarchy, or it is just a trade-off with the impossibility of having both at the same time? Thank you 

Hi All,I am trying to use a font in Onestream which seems to be working fine in the cube views and Excel extract, however it it does not work in PDF. May I know the reason why it is not consistent? I have updated application properties, hard coded in business rule, and added the font family in the cube view itself. But does not work on PDF which is the most important one.Any suggestions?

Hello,  I'm trying to delete a File Share file but getting the error in the Subject above and I don't know what's causing it - I'm hoping someone can help.  This is my code: Dim fileName As String = "MyFile.csv" Dim folderPath As String = BRApi.FileSystem.GetFileShareFolder(si, FileShareFolderTypes.ApplicationRoot, api) + "\" + si.AppName + "\Groups\MyFolder BRApi.FileSystem.DeleteFile(si, folderPath, fileName) When this runs, this is the error:  "Conversion from string "\\sgc000462adev2.file.core.windo" to type 'Integer' is not valid."  Why is it trying to convert the folderPath to Int?  How do I fix this? Dear all, Is there a way to show for instance journal data and also identify which are the names of the journals involved in a given intersection? I cloned an existing connection that pulls the Scenario and Date from the workflow.  The new connection is requiring me setup a  New Scenario Transformation rule that is basically Budget --> Budget and time rule 2024M1 --> 2024M1.  The connection I cloned doesn't require the additional rules and was pulling Actuals.  All my Data Sources, Scenario, and Workflow settings seem the same.  Any suggestions on what I am missing?  I don't want to maintain the time rules, so that's why I'm trying to see what I'm doing wrong.

Is there a way to determine the number of data cells by account-type dimension member? In our example, we are reviewing an implemented application with millions of ZeroData cells and are trying to identify which account formulas are producing the most zero data cells.System Diagnostics has a "Data Volume Stats" tab that lists data cell status counts (i.e., RealCellCount, ZeroCellCount, etc) by data unit. However, there does not appear to be any reports that display this information by account. Has anyone had success retrieving this information via a different application report or custom SQL query (against the application database)? This is probably unrealistic to retrieve (given the data volumes required), but maybe there is a way I haven't yet considered.

I am having to build a lot of alternate hierarchy for external reporting, so I am going and building relationships with our main hierarchy. The problem I am getting into is every time I search for an account (example), OS collapses the hierarchy path where I need to "paste relationship", so I have to reopen it every time, and with a few levels to open, it is getting incredibly tedious. Anyone knows how to stop OS from automatically collapsing hierarchies?

I'm attempting to send an email with an attachment from a file stored in File Explorer. What does my file path look like if the file is saved in File Explorer->Application Database->Documents ->Public?  Regards,Anusha

Hello, we encounter the following behaviour with the OneStream Desktop Client and the Excel Add-In: The Server Adress URL is stored in c:\users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\OneStream\Common\Settings\webserverurl.txt As soon as I click connect, the URL stored in the webserverurl.txt file gets deleted with the next start of the desktop application or the Excel Add-In, the Server Address field is empty and I have to get the Connection URL by clicking the three dots next to the Server Adress field (which is quite annoying). I need to create a business rule that will move a file from a user's folder in File Explorer to the server's File Share. I am using the BRApi.FileSystem.GetFile method to successfully read the file, but I am unable to write the file to the server. I believe my issue is with the XFFileInfo parameters. I am not sure how many parameters to provide and what the value to provide for the folderFullName parameter. Hi Everyone,I am actually trying to make a dashboard that let users execute different sequences from data management without accessing the Application tab so i am using a dashboard with a combo box that lets you choose the step you want  and a button to execute it.The problem is that i don't know how to send to the button the sequence i chose from the combo box and how to make so that the button can execute any sequence i chose without preparing the parameters in advance like we do in the data management tab where we run then choose parameters we need. I already linked a parameter containing the list of steps to populate the combo box but i don't know how to send the selected step to the button to run it. Thank you.

Hi ! I'm looking for a way to change a value of an input value parameter type using a business rule. The use case is quite simple : the user will input a value in order to calculate a data. However, using a button I would like to "reset" the input value with another value. I can easily change the value of a "litteral parameter" with a business rule, but I dont know how to change the value of a "input value" parameter type (needless to say, a litteral parameter will not allow my user to input a value !)  ... so what would be the best way to achieve this ?   Regards,

Hi,While we copy from Scenario S#Bud1 to S#Bud2, Annotations are not getting copied.Understand from related posts, it can be achieved using api.Data.SetDataAttachmentText(). Any tried approach using this syntax.Any leads would be appreciated.Thanks

Hi All, I am aware of various options available for copying scenario data in OneStream. These options (data management or custom calculate) usually copy only periodic data across scenarios. Any idea how annotation data can be copied from sceanario1 to scenario2 in OneStream? Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks Bharti

What is the best way to query the Security Roles and their assigned Security Groups in the Application. It would also be helpful to query security roles assigned to Workflows. Any ideas?? 😕 Thanks.        

Once my SIC Gateway is online, how can I apply the data sources to specific workflow profiles? The "data source name" shown on the Custom System Configuration is not one of the available options to select for the workflow profiles.
