Dear Community Members,I have cloned the Blueprint OSB_CustomTranslate to apply code when FunctionType FxRate fires. My cube is set to Standard Using Business Rules for FxRates.My business rule is set as Business Rule 1 (and 2 as a matter of fact for logging purposes only).I am running Translate, Custom Translate, Consolidate, ForceConsolidate but i cannot get the FXRate FunctionType to fire.  I am logging in the rule to get a log message for every different FunctionType that fires.  Getting Calculate but not FXRate.Any tips would be much appreciated.  I am sure the resolution will be utterly embarassing but i am at the end of my wits.

I'm working on a custom Table View that returns People Planning Plan Data for our users.  The new requirement is to also bring in the Currency of the data. This means I need to bring in the Currency that is assigned to a given Entity (i.e., Currency assigned in Entity Member Properties in the Settings section).  I've looked through the Member, MemberDescription, and MemberProperty Application Database Tables but cannot seem to find where the Currency name is stored.   If anyone can point me to where I can find an Entity's Currency stored in the Application Database Tables, that would be fantastic.

Hi, Has anyone updated and added new member in metadata by using extender rule by picking the member information from SQL table or any other data warehouse? Table contains most of the information related member in OneStream and their member properties. If anyone has done similar kind of implementation, please let me know. Thanks.

I'm trying to add several non-financial accounts for metrics.  I've loaded my historical data in at periodic.  I want to be able to see the annual totals by account but instead T#2023 is showing me the December numbers and not the total.  What am I doing wrong?!

Does anyone know the BR to change the date format of the Cube view Report footer from ("MM/dd/yyyy h:mm:ss tt") to ("dd/MM/yyyy h:mm:ss tt") via Business Rule Cube view extender? Is there also a rule to show the Username on the Report footer? Would be ideal to show it in the center of the report footer.   Thanks  

Hi All, Can somebody maybe help me on this one? I want to add some subtotals in my report but  the problem is that i need to add two members to the CVR formula. So as shown in the formula below not only deferred taxation (account) but also the UD3 (<1 Year) to get the complete data field to sum. How can this be achieved?      

Hi, How does it work the C#Aggregated? What entity property does it take into account for aggregating? We are aggregating two different entity structures but we are not obtaining the same data. We have the same entities in both structures but one of the has duplicated two entities: - one of them aggregates OK. - the other, does not. Regards,

Hello, I have imported data from a csv file with unit price adjustments. Data is transformed to use the correct UD2, UD5 with One to one transformation. In some cases there should be a second data record created with a different UD2 and UD5, is it possible to do that with a complex expression, or should I make a calculation after import in business rule or with a member formula? kind regards Ben

Hi, I have a scenario member which workflow properties are setup as follow: However, this means we will have to Reset the scenario next year to change WF Time to 2025 and t change the WF start and end times. Is there a way of using the Range in the workflow scenario settings and not having to Reset the scenario every year? We would be ok with users overwriting the overlapping periods (when working in 2025 they would overwrite the period from 2024M11 to 2025M4 which where previously within the Range of the 2024 WF Time), we are just trying to avoid having the extra step of resetting the scenario every year. We thought about using parcel service, so we want to include the reports in a book. What are the options for generating reports from the database? Can this only be done using grid views? Is there any option for displaying a dashboard report in a book? Regards,

Hi, we have just added some local configuration values to local Gateway like in the following example: I am trying to retrieve those values. My understanding is that a Smart Integration Function must be created and that can than be called from a dashboard extender rule for example. However, the example provided in the OneStream documentation for the SIC function confuses me:  shouldn't the RunOperation function return the Result? Anyway, even setting the function type to String and returning the Result string, I am still having some issue in the getting the value over to a dashboard business rule. I am following another OneStream example in this case. First of all the "ObjectResult" does not exist as a member of "RemoteRequestResultDto" I have therefore tried to use a different member like "objectResultValue". I can compile the rule this one, but I get the following error when trying to run the business rule: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object."   Anyon

We have followed the instructions on setting up the Local Gateway servers and the SIC have been created (see picture below). Hi, is there a way to set a parameter via task scheduler and pass it to the data management sequence and also its' steps? I've been able to pass a parameter to the sequence but I need it to reach the DM-step. (pictures to prove example)

Hello folks, Is there an explanation why SetDataCellsUsingMemberScript() writes to the cube only the last value from a list? If the list is formed by 10 records only the last one is written. It seems it keeps writing to the same intersection by continuously overwriting instead of adding.

Hi everyone, I have a question related to the upload of a new dimension hierarchy through an XML file. I currently have a file excel with the whole hierarchy for each dimension that I keep updating based on my client requests. I noticed that when I upload the file, the system merges the current version of the hierarchy with the previous one. This does not work for me because I would need the old hierarchy to be replaced by the new one.  A possible solution could be to manually delete the hierarchy members before the upload of the new hierarchy, but this would delete the data that has been loaded already. I would need a solution to just overwrite the current relationships between the members of the hierarchy without deleting them. Is there a way to do that? Thanks in advance!

I can use T#YearPrior1(|WFTime|) in my cube views and it yields the correct date. However, when I use this variable in my ConfirmationRuleArgs, I get an error noting: "Invalid calculation script. Unexpected text. |WFTime|)." Is there a way to have the confirmation rule pull December PY based on the workflow time the user is in?  Thanks for the help!

Hi there,We are trying to test data provider endpoints using Postman but they always fail with Error: connect ETIMEDOUT xx.xxx.xxx.xxx:50001.I have read the documentation, manage to call Authentication API with Personal Access Token but no luck with other endpoints. Hi OneStream Community - I'm trying to create a rule to apply a specific % to the base entities of a specific region. To keep it simple, say we have 5 regions and I want to create an account that takes their PBBIT and multiplies it by a % that is different for each region, and I want it to calculate it at the base entity level, of that region. Dear community members, I have a DM Export Sequence defined in a workspace.  However, i am not able to save the data source after assigning the DM sequence to the Data Mgmt Settings:Data Export Sequence. While i am able to select the sequence, when i try to save  i get this error message:  And while the new workspaces are awesome i dont seem to be able to correctly interpret this helpful note in the design & Reference Guide.  If OneStream lets me select my DM sequence, does that mean that my DM sequence follows these rules? I have a Non-Default Workspace and a DM Sequence Name. But alas ....We are on 8.2.2.  Any tips or references to a solution that may already be here on community would be much appreciated.
