HowdyI want to apply a Zero Suppression Threshold (of 1,000) in a Cube View for a specific column.However, the Account in my column is a Dynamic Calc. The suppression isn't working at all, can someone confirm if Zero Suppression Threshold is only available for Stored Data?If it is only available for Stored Data, is my best option to use a Member Formula instead of a Dynamic Calc? I've tried using Cube View Math as well but I get the same result as using a Dynamic Calc.Thanks in advance

Hi everyone!I am working with a Pivot Grid dashboard item in the BI Viewer. I am investigating about the possibility of formatting the Excel export of this component. Currently, the exported file does not retain the formatting applied within the BI Viewer, resulting in a very non-user-friendly layout, with fixed column widths. I am trying to write some custom reports off of the RCM tables.  Does anyone know the translation of the number in the status column from the table to the name that shows in the UI?  Or does someone have a nifty way to retrieve that from the code?Thanks,Scott

Hi, I am working on an Import/Validate/Load step and built a Connector which gets data from an Application table and a Data source which use the said connector.The connector/Data source seem to work in the sense that that gets pulled in during the import step.However, when the import step is run I receive the following error: "Summary: Detail Cache summarization did not produce any Summary Data Rows." Does any of you know what could cause the issue and what the error message means?Thank you

I'm creating a business rule to automatically lock all workflows and descendants using:   BRApi.Workflow.Locking.LockWorkflowUnitDescendants(si, wfClusterPk, profileTypeFilter, workflowChannelKey) but I'm getting the error: 'the item was not found'. I found an example online but it's not working for me. I didn't know what to populate wfClusterPk with so I defined it as (). I wanted to see if there is a way to obtain the entities that are under another one but with a filter, like the following: E#|!PerformPnL_Entity!|.TreeDescendantsInclusive.Where(Text1 StartsWith M_ and (HasChildren = True)) I want to do this in a BR, but I am not sure exactly how to do it or if it is possible, since GetBaseMembers brings all of them and I would like to filter it first so that there are not too many entities to verify. I would appreciate it if you could help me with this question.

Hi all,  I am implementing Guided Reporting into our workflows. The entity parameter I have is a member list looking up E#Root.WFProfileEntities.  The cube view is a pretty standard balance sheet, with row and column sets. I have embedded it into the workflow, so that users can come in and use their reporting for the specific entities.  The issue I have is that whenever I open the balance sheet and set the rows and columns, the cube view always defaults to the Group Parent entity, even if the WF profile has different assigned entities. I change workflow, and it still shows the parent entity. It's only when I change the entity manually from the GR parameter button that it refreshes.  Any idea how to link the entity button to set the cube view upon first run? Maybe I'm missing something, or maybe there is a BR that I can build? Thanks!

Hey - I seem to recall something/somewhere in the application I could reference to find sample syntax such as common financial logic and other starters.  My memory is fuzzy, but I thought it was almost like a dialog box similar to the member filter builder, but inside the application.  I can't seem to locate it in the application nor find reference material.  Am I losing my mind?

Hi OneStreamers, I'm currently working with the Guided reporting solution in OS v8.4.0. When running the report in the GDR homepage a duplicate dialogue box appears after the Guided Reporting Dashboard is selected via the OnePlace menu item, once a report is selected, or after a Parameter is changed anytime the Parameter combo box is changed. Each Parameter is set up a Member list at the moment but were previously discovered as Member Dialogue, and now rediscovered as the updated Member list param. Any Idea what I could be missing? 

Hi Community,      We are encountering an issue where the BI Viewer dashboard is not displaying for a specific user, while it works perfectly for all other users. Interestingly, when we add the data adapter used in the BI Viewer to a grid view, the dashboard displays correctly. However, it fails to display when using the BI Viewer component.Can anyone provide any insights into what might be causing this issue?Thanks

Hi everyone, I'm having problems in writing data to one scenario through a cubeview. I have 2 scenarios available. If in the cubeview I use one of them, it allows me to manually input data. If I change the scenario, I cannot input data anymore. All the other dimensions are base members and they are unchanged.In addition, I cannot find the setting to allow data input on one specific scenario. I checked the settings of both scenarios and they are identical.Does anyone have any idea how to do it?Thanks!

Hi, we have delimited data source implemented in application. In data source we have two additional rows on top and one empty row- file works fine but now we want to retrieve information("Chicago") from skipped row(number 2). It looks that OneStream read data starting from row number 5.  Could you please help me with understanding why these first rows were skipped? Thank you in advance.

Hello, I'm attempting to create my first table view using the syntax below.  The SQL is a very basic record grab from DataEntryAuditSource (initial POC).  Compiles fine and seems to be okay relative to the user guide, but I keep getting an error message when I attempt to run.  Does anyone have any thoughts on what I could be doing wrong? Hello,we need to turn on the "Logon Activity Threshold" on our OneStream cloud instance. I have looked at the documentation and I believe the information there regarding this is for on-prem installations (it involves editing configuration files).I do see this on the cloud application:Is this where you set this on cloud?If so, is this enough to prevent the users from accessing the instance if they don't log on in the required interval? tldr: What's a performant, reliable way to determine a member's parent within a given hierarchy?I have been developing a custom extender rule to automate OneStream metadata updates based on our master metadata source. One of the last remaining tasks to solve is how to correctly execute member moves. As OneStream can have a given member exist multiple times in the same dimension, the only way to execute a move in OneStream is by specifying "move from parent A to parent B." Parent B is quite easy to determine as our metadata source provides this information per-hierarchy and does not allow duplicates but it does not tell us parent A, or even if there was a move at all. This means I have to validate that the specified member 1) is under the same parent that our metadata source says it should be and 2) isn't anywhere else in the hierarchy. However, in OneStream, I know of no way to query the parent(s) of a member but only those within a specific hierarchy. I've never needed to do this in a

Hello all, I need to verify and confirm the method of choice to set up an NS to OS 8.5 integration WITHOUT the SIC in play.Here is what I have uncovered thus far....A SuiteAnalytics Connect is being considered via ODBC so OS can pull data from NS.  I read a few things about this.  One is that a BR would be set up in OS to call on a SuiteScript in NS initiate the data pull.  Now, the missing piece is how to set up the connection in OS if there is no ODBC installed.  Another thing is that SIC would not be needed.I also perused a blog that stated that Support can set up s direct connection to NS from OS, provided they have the NS info.  Can anyone please confirm this approach?Rest API could be leveraged but looking for an alternative. Any input would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Ed P 

Hi Team, How does XFGetMemberProperty works in Excel AddIn? The fields in the formula I have are - MemberNameorScript PropertyName VaryByCubeTypeName VaryByScenarioTypeName VaryByTimeorTimeDimProfileName I want to pull the properties for Text 1 to Text 8 from OneStream Production for Entity, for different Time Periods like Default, 2023, 2024 and 2025. Now the properties I pulled at Default are giving correct result. But when trying to pull at year level like 2023, 2024 and 2025, I am not getting the correct data. It is only showing the data present at Default. But in OneStream Prod, I do have data in 2023, 2024 and 2025 for the Text Tags. In my formula, I was setting VaryByTimeorTimeDimProfileName = "2023". And so on for 2024 and 2025I am getting the same thing for XFGetMemberPropertyVolatile formula as well. In OneStream my year values are stored in 'Stored Property Value' Can someone please help me here ?
