Hi,I am trying to use parameters that I select in a cube view to be used in a dynamic calculation.Can someone advise how to do that in a UD8 dynamic calc formula?Parameters are to select scenario 1 and Scenario 2 and used them both in the UD8 dynamic calc .

Hi everyone, I’m looking to get some input from the community on Excel-based reporting in OneStream. In your experience, which format has proven to be more efficient and reliable: XFGetCell formulas or Cube View connections? The reason I’m asking is that we use OneStream reports to feed data into Excel workbooks, and we’re getting recurring feedback from users about performance issues—slow refresh times and, in some cases, Excel crashing. For context, these workbooks usually contain multiple tabs and often include a mix of: Cube View connections Quick Views XFGetCell formulas (used when a specific layout is required) Our goal is to better advise users on the best reporting approach. So far, it feels like this mixed setup is becoming heavy and is negatively impacting the user experience. Hi Team, While running the XFGetCell report we are getting the below error. we could observe that this error is appearing in 9.1.1 Version, Can you please advise us to resolve the issue.  

I have to create a task manager build that does not include weekends in the duration. We have tried adding the weekends to holiday profiles and excluding them from the explicit day map, but the duration will always include the weekends. Right now, I have due dates on weekends an holidays even when calling them out in the Holiday Profile and setting each one with an offset of 1. Is there a work around for this or any other solution to have the durations skip weekends/ due dates not be due on weekends or holidays?

Hi everyone,In my CubeView I have a cell defined with the Date data type and I would like to force its display using the number format dd/MM/yyyy,However the format never changes and is always displayed as MM/dd/yyyy, probably due to the US culture settings.Do you know if it is possible to override this behavior? I assume it should be since multiple date formats are available.Thanks, Nicolas 

I have a cube view with a parameter on Entity |!Entity_select!| that I would like to put in a tabbed dashboard that has one tab for specific Entity member. I am using dashboard type "Embedded dynamic repeater" where the component is data explorer report.Data explorer report has data adapter component to the Cube View. I thought the way to do this would be to use the template parameter values in the collections. But it shows error as attached below.It seems that the template parameter value was not passed to Entity_select parameter. Is data explorer report component compatible for dashboard embedded dynamic repeater?Is there any sample of Embedded dynamic repeater dashboard using data explorer report component?TIA,Nuryana

I have tried multiple ways:Literal Perameters, Column Formatting, Data formattingto try to format GridView cells.I have some decimal data coming over.  it is formatted as $#,###,0;($#,###,0);$0I cannot get it to Horizontal Align Center, Negative Text = Red. This is really agitaitng.  Trying to align my data, show Negative Values as Red.  Thank you in advanced

I need assistance in selecting the immediate parent of a base member. Currently, I am using a Business Rule (BR) to identify the Top 10 Business, but I am unable to retrieve the correct members. My requirement is not to select the base members themselves, but rather the member directly above each base member in the hierarchy. Scenario:  I am using the following formula to select U6#Top_Business.Base.options. However, instead of retrieving the base members, I need to capture their immediate parent. Is there a member filter formula available that can achieve this? Good morning, So, I am creating a Report Component with, at least, 75 different data cells from Data Adapters.  When it comes to a Formatting Rule, I am looking for a single rule where the condition is dynamic based upon the value of the cell it is applied to. This is just a small portion of the cells.  I would like to format all of them as ($##,###) in Red if it is negative.  I have tried using [Value] < 0 in the condition but everything is turning red.  I have created calcualted cells to turn any text into Decimal.  I don't want to have to create a rule for every cell. Also, when it comes to the Format String, what is the syntax to make negative number show in parenthisis?

We are having an issue with users and page breaks in the excel add-in.    Example 1:  A user creates a cube view connection and pulls said cube view into an excel worksheet.   The result, however, does not render all the rows.  There is a page break and they are forced to page through to see the rest of the rows.   If I replicate these actions, I do not get the same page break, my results render all the rows on a single page.  No page breaks.  We went through preferences and other excel settings together to make sure our settings matched.  What is causing this to happen?  What other things can we try to resolve?   The user must have all the rows displayed at once (no page breaks).  Example 2:  A user creates a quickview only to have the results get cut off with a page break.  If I replicate the quickview, the return does not cut off the rows.  I get everything on the sheet.  Any hints, tips,

I'm looking for a way to report on our workflow profile set up - specifically want to be able to pull the workflow profile (the forms step added to the WF) and the associated "Workflow Name" (which is an awful name for this). Workflow Name refers to the tasks on the step:  The point is to make sure certain steps are all set up the same way with the same step tasks but I can't determine the best way to do this right now.  Looks like the WorkflowProfileAttributes table may possibly show me but I don't know where I can find a listing of what the AttributeIndex equates to on the actual WF set up (design doc shows zero results when searching either of those terms). Any direction or guidance would be very much appreciated!! 

As the title suggests, I am trying to populate a dashboard list box that references the Workflow text property regardless of the dimension being used. I'm able to populate the list box using a single dimension, meaning a UD3 member is populated on the workflow's WFText4 property and a member list parameter uses |WFText4| to pull it in. How would I get this to work if the Workflow text value is not always UD3? For Example (both workflows will be using WFText4): Canada Workflow A needs a UD3 Member.Base to populate in the list box when they run the dashboard in their workflow but Canada Workflow B needs a UD6 Member.Base to populate the list box when they run the dashboard in their workflow. Please let me know if I can provide more context.

Hello,We want to spread data acrross multiple periods in a cube view, so we select the parent member (Year) and we expect that automatically OS applies spreading to all its base time members (months).However, we are working on a forecast scenario with the setting "Number of No Input Periods Per WF Unit" set to 4. And we don't understand how the spreading works.It seems the system calculates the difference between the amount entered at the parent member (Year) and the total amount of the closed months (the no input periods), and this calculated amount is the one that is saved at the parent member (Year), instead of the amount enetered initially.Could someone help us to clarify this calculation?Thanks!

Hello, I have a table view where I also allow users to save changes. In my code I'm checking for the cells that have changed using "If tvr.Item("Bonus").IsDirty()". This seems to work fine for non-numeric columns, however, I find that for the numeric columns the cells are always marked as dirty even if they are not changed. I tried different things, e.g. marking the column as decimal data type "tv.Columns(7).DataType = XFDataType.Decimal" but so far no luck. Do you have any advise how this can be solved? Thanks, Volker

Hello, I have an automated report book and would like to expand the functionality to include charts (in addition to the existing cubeviews).  I was able to add the chart, but I'm struggling with trying to control the formatting.  I would like to modify the header and have the chart fill the page (too much white space). See below. Thanks! Is there a way to format the chart output, in particular I would like to enlarge the chart image and have it stretched across the page?
